Holds a lot but boards were scuffed and dented

5 stars for the product itself but 0 for the packaging. The boards were just sort of loose in the box, banging around on each other and the bag of screws so there were a lot of scuff marks and dents. I decided to use them as is because it's not super noticeable once it's up on the wall with books. Seems sturdy so far. These are the nice deep shelves and they hold a nice amount of books.Assembly was easy, but a bit annoying since it uses hex/allen screws. I didn't have an exact sized bit for them so had to use the manual wrench included. Tedious but didn't take long. Be warned there are no extra parts/screws so if you lose one or mess up a wall anchor, you're on your own. I thought that was a bit odd not to include at least one extra screw.Value-wise - worth it I think. They are not "solid" solid wood, it's wood glued together, much more substantial than the particle board junk from ikea.Appearance - I like them, they're just plain natural wood, some sort of finish on it. Nice and a simple.I'll probably buy one of the other more shallow sets for behind the door.
