Well-made basic rug that'll go the distance

I needed to get runners for my senior dog who kept slipping without the added traction. I didn't want to add a new design and wanted a simple solid color that blend in as much as possible. Took me forever to find these ones, but they are worth the wait for what I needed. They're well-made and definitely anti-slip, and they feel heavy duty. Very slim height and very low pile, so they're easy peasy to vacuum. The material is soft-ish, but I definitelt wouldn't categorize these as plush or luxurious. This is one of those mats that is super functional and will probably hold up very well. I don't think you could get away with a rug pad because of how the rug is made, so you're kind of stuck with what you get. Again, works perfectly for me and will be ordering more. I've already bought three 2×6, one 2×8, and one 3×8.

Nice quality. Lays flat on floor without moving. I use this as a runner in my kitchen which is where my dogs go in and out. This rug helps prevent them from tracking in mud on wet days. Low profile, stays down, keeps mud from being tracked into house by dogs

Finally found a carpet for my backyard entryway that keeps outside dirt from being tracked into house by dogs AND has a low profile so no tripping on it. The coating on the back keeps it laying flat, even at the corners. I have vacuumed it daily for a month and so far no fraying. I have purchased several other kinds of rugs - chenille, washable, water hog, etc. - all have disappointed in some way. My basement is a cemetery of failed door mats. This does the job, is inexpensive, and I won’t mind buying another at this price when it wears out.Follow-up Feb 15 - it has been vacuumed every day (two GSDs) and still looks great - no fraying or tufting. And it stays put when my old sheep struggles to get up. I will buy this again.
