Great purchase! Bonus: Could save you from ninja attacks
Purchased two 6x2 runners and a single 4x5 area rug in July 2025. Have had them all in use for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier. So far, they retain their bubble shape, are very soft to the touch, and super fluffy. These carpets are relatively thin. Think something like a bath mat. If you were using them over carpet, they would likely be very comfy to lie on for extended periods. On hard surfaces, while they are nice to walk on, they are not particularly comfortable to lie on, unless, of course, you like lying on hard floors. The point is, these don't provide a ton of cushioning if that's what you're looking for.I specifically wanted something that was machine washable. These claimed that they are, and so far, so good. In my home, the runners are on either side of my bed, and the area rug is positioned between a TV stand and seating. They get walked on frequently, not only by me, but also by my 68 lb pibbypotamous with paws that are like excavator scoops. On the few occasions he's managed to bring some outside to the inside, I was able to spot clean these with a moist rag. Outside dirt/mud came right off without a problem.Today I've run all three pieces through the washer and dryer. Been waiting to write this review until I had done that. I'm happy to report that machine washing/drying gave no issues at all. I used the delicate cycle on both the washer and dryer. I did not see any shedding after either cycle. All pieces came out brilliant white and just as fluffy as when they were brand new. When drying them, I found that I needed a bit more time than the delicate cycle allowed, and they were still slightly damp after the default 30 minutes or so. Put them back in the dryer with the timed dry setting, on low heat for an additional 20 minutes, and they turned out perfectly dry and in good shape.I do see what some are saying about these being "slippery". I have laminate wood flooring in my home. In my experience, the non-slip backing on these rugs holds them in place just fine. The furry side, on the other hand, is a bit slick, depending on what type of socks you are wearing or if you're barefoot. This has not been a problem for me, as they are all placed in areas where you momentarily stand on them and then sit in a chair or climb into bed. If you were running through your house in socks attempting to evade ninjas or something and forgot these were there, then yes, you may go sliding across them. Use this to your advantage and be ready to dropkick those ninjas when they also come sliding across the carpet. In any case, I don't know that slippery is the correct word to use here. They have long, fluffy fibers and should be expected to reduce friction to some degree, underfoot, because...physics. I did not find them any more "slick" than I expected them to be.As for sizing, I measured the areas of my home I wanted these to cover, found the relevant sizes in the chart, and lo and behold, they fit just fine. They appear to be true to size per my tape measure and my calibrated right eye.In the end, I'm happy with my purchase so far. It's only been a couple of months, so the test of time remains. No promises, but if I'm still using these in my space a year from now, I will post an update.
