Subtle can be good!

When reviewing incense, one aspect I like to touch on is in what the incense does to the "mood" of the room. I find this can vary wildly, from mild and mood-enhancing to a powerful and mood-replacing fragrance. Given how critical some of the other reviews have been of this incense, I would like to focus on this aspect for my own review. Honestly, they aren't wrong. When comparing this (and many low-smoke incense) to your average stick of Japanese incense, it does seem to output a lighter fragrance. The difference becomes even more pronounced when comparing it against your average stick of bamboo core incense.This is not necessarily a bad thing.The fragrance is there, it just isn't beating you over the head with a two-by-four. If you are looking for an incense for a smaller room, this might be perfect. Maybe you are a bit sensitive to heavy fragrance or smoke? Or perhaps you are simply looking to enhance the mood of a space (like a good candle!) rather than flood it overpowering fragrance? There are plenty of reasons to want something a little lighter, and I believe this to be a great incense for those occasions.Asayu ranks among my favorite incense producers, and this Low-Smoke Jasmine is just another notch in their belt as far as I am concerned.

I can't detect any aroma from these incense sticks. They are right, there is very little smoke as they burn, however, that also means there is very little scent.
