these are really cool but you have to have an incense stick holder that is large enough to hold the wider stickThey're all one piece and there is no wooden stick at the end and they break easy so be carefulI really enjoy them and I really enjoy that there's smokeless for the most partAnd I've already purchased them again
This incense truly is low smoke, but still gives off a really pleasant fragrance with a pretty high throw. It also lasts at least twice as long as other cheaper japanese incense sticks. The packaging is beautiful and secure, so all the incense sticks arrived in perfect condition, unlike a cheaper brand I'd purchased in the same order. Yes this brand is more expensive than others, but for the quantity of sticks you receive, the price difference is not all that significant. It's clear what you're paying for is the quality and I for one believe it's worth the extra money.
For those that are odor sensitive but would like something that is light in scent this is perfect. I am odor sensitive and have been looking for something that is lightly scented and natural smelling. This is perfect for me. This product is very nice, light scent. It is a little hard to describe the scent. The evening one has a hint of floral with earthy warm tones/notes. The morning is like a green tea with hints of woodsy, and green outdoors like after a rainshower. It's a clean fresh scent. My description probably isn't doing these incense sticks justice.The sticks last 35-36 minutes long. I timed them.They aren't as fragile as some people made them out to be. You would have to be applying considerable pressure to break them. I tested this to see how fragile they are. That being said, they a little more fragile then the incense stick you would buy in the store as they do not have a piece of wood going down the middle of them.One more thing about the scent. They are a very light scent. So if you have a large space you may need to burn two or three sticks to fill the room with their scent. But if you have a small room, one will do just fine. So you may want to keep in mind how big of a space you would be likely using this particular kind of incense and how odor sensitive you are before buying this product. Also this is not an airfreshener so don't expect it to act like one. Some incense sticks do act like airfresheners because they are heavily perfumed. These are not.Sadly it is pricey, that's why I gave it only a four star rating. Otherwise it would be a five for me.
Absolutely YES as a daily driver Japanese incense. The bamboo stick core incenses which rely on artificial fragrance oils claiming to be “ 100 % pure ” simply can NOT compare.
I've been using these for about 6 months, 3-5 sticks per week. I don't have a lot of experience with incense, but my wife likes the low-smoke aspect and the whole family enjoys the scent. I'll likely purchase again in the future.
