I had a large bowl that is just nice blue on the sides but really cool inside. I had never bought a display stand because I didn't know if any would actually hold the bowl. Found this one and figured I would give it a try. It works perfectly. it's built well enough that I'm not scared the bowl is going to fall and break and it has the right size so you can see the color inside the bowl. Love it!
Without this, my Talavera Potteries would have been almost invisible. The display stand does justice to show the intricate design and artistry of the pottery. I will buy some more as needed in the future.
They are so perfect for large bowl displays
Does the trick. Angle of platter tilt was closer to horizontal. Not what I wanted. Found I could bend the stand to a more pleasing angle (steeper). By bending upright towards me. Took some tweaking, but a few tries got it even and the wobble out. Suppose it also depends on the size and depth of your bowl or platter. Mines was about 15” around and about 2 - 3” in depth. A good bend was all it needed tho. Works if you work it. Not a big deal. Good buy for the $’s. Took awhile to arrive. Dunno why. But glad I got it.
These work okay but generally speaking they're a little bit on the pithy side. I got them to display bowls and frankly it's hard to explain but the bottom line is they're not really tall enough or deep enough for a lot of my pottery bowls.I didn't really want to ding them a lot because it was an experimentation and I am going to just use them for lighter canvases.I just needed quantity and I didn't want to spend a lot of money so this was fitting for its cost
The stands are sturdy and are invisible in display. I will be buying more. I have more plates and bowls to display.Looks great:The item when used is invisible. You can’t see what’s holding the plate up. This is one of my favorite things about it.Ease of use:They were already put together. There was no assembly required.
Just what I needed for my display. Very sturdy and no slipping. The only drawback is no adjustments for different sizes.
