I had overwatered my actual mother-in-law's plant and it basically toppled over. So, now have this replacement. It is very natural looking...and you know, actual live plants look a bit artificial from first glance as well. The new is placed with other plants and looks magnificent.
I wasn’t expecting to like it but figured I would give it a go and could always return it. However, I am very pleasantly surprised. Looks great.
I got the one with the yellow edges, and it looks pretty good. Most people aren't going to notice that it's fake because they won't inspect it, although if you look up close, it's clearly fake. Other than that, the pot is nicely weighted, and the they give you a lot of fake moss (some sort of fabric) that also looks real. We didn't use the basket because my wife didn't like the look, although if you like the picture of the basket, I expect you'll like the real thing.
Even though the plants I received were considerably less lush than what is depicted, they are still surprisingly lovely and realistic. I have had to do a double-take a few times to be sure I was seeing a faux plant. The plants in the pots are much heavier than I anticipated, so be careful of your toes. Nicely done!
I am giving it the rating as befits the purpose for which I bought it. I needed some "green" in my shaded porch as I am tired of killing innocent "shade-loving" plants that cannot tolerate that much shade. This fits the purpose perfectly. It looks pretty realistic out there until you get right in its face - but no one's going to be inspecting that closely on the porch, so it's perfect.Packaging was sturdy and nothing was broken, and no funky smells of any kind - pretty clean.
I had a live plant like this on a stand in my living room. Unfortunitly the area doesn't get much light, so the plant hasn't done well. I replaced it with this fake one and it looks great. I have almost watered it a few times. Lol!
The color and shape of the plant is great. Looks natural. The pot is fine, and was a little miss Shapen when we first took it out of the package because it was . However, it looks great now but will fall over if bumped.
