Fooled the Grandkid! High-Quality Greenery for Low-Light Spots

As a long-time plant lover with a green thumb, I usually prefer the real thing. However, I have several areas in my home that simply don't get enough light for a living plant to thrive. Love the pot! Great Realism for the Price

Needed a small plant for a buffet table at the end of our dinning room table and this plant fits perfectly! The feature I like the most is the modern concrete pot with a rough course texture to give that modern feel. The pot is lined with little stones which is nice compared to those fake solid surfaces found on many fake plants. The plant itself has a great illusion with many branches sprouting out of the center and thick layered leaves. While the leaves are lacking texture, they do have little rivets with a waxy shine to help simulate real leaves. Honestly, the plant is somewhere in the middle in terms of being realistic, with it not being the most convincing I’ve seen but far from the worse. But with the price, this a very solid piece that enhanced my space.

Nice quality, but does look artificial

As someone who seems to have an innate inability to keep plants alive, I was eager to give this artificial plant a try, since it wouldn't require care.When the plant arrived, I was unimpressed, as the plant leaves were all smashed together in the box, and the plant looked very unattractive. Thankfully, after taking the plant out and "fluffing" it up and separating the leaves, it took on a much better look. The plant itself seems well made, and the entire set up of the plant in the planter, with little pebbles, is well put together. I'm not sure what the planter is made of; it looks like cement and yet is lightweight so I'm sure it's not. The pebbles seem to be real, or at least look real, and the combo of the pebbles in the planter give a nice look that will blend with many decors.The plant's leaves are a vivid green that resembles the color of leaves of a real-life peperomia. They also have veining on the leaves, as real plants do. From far away, the leaves look great, and the plant has a very nice look. From close up, however, you can definitely tell it's fake...as the leaves have an unnatural sheen from the plastic material they're made from, and a waxier look than a real plant would have. From close-up the stems also do not look lifelike, as they have the same plastic look.I currently have this plant situated on my covered front porch area, and because it's down on the ground rather than at eye level, it looks great. It's sitting out there with a number of real plants in planters, and from the angle you see it, you can't tell that it's not real. So while it works great there, when I tried it inside my house I didn't like the way it looked, because at closer to eye level on a shelf, its fakeness was more evident.Overall, I think that as far as faux plants go, this is a fairly good one, and I appreciate that you can adjust the leaves into whatever for that you'd like them to be in. The plant is "potted" in a very attractive planter, and seems like it will hold up well. I feel that for under $20, it's a good option and good value for the money.

Extremely high quality faux plant

I have multiple artificial plants in my bedroom (which doesn't get enough natural light for real ones), and this may be the best one yet. The cement "planter" is really thick and sturdy, the plant itself is not shiny and extremely easy to bend into place, and the leaves look very much like a real begonia from a distance.Up close you can tell that the plant is artificial - the stems are the biggest giveaway - but the rocks and leaves are quite nice in terms of not being shiny or strangely colored.
