Assembly required! Pretty blooms, not in love with the leaves.
The peonies themselves are very, very pretty. I have the champagne color; this color is simply beautiful and elegant. The blooms are nice and full, and were fluffy and ready to use straight from the box. The leaves are bagged and did require some manipulation to look presentable. I like the muted green color of the leaves, and I am so, so glad the leaves are fabric like the flowers and not hard plastic. But the appearance still “leaves” something to be desired - I think it is the way they are shaped that makes them look pretty fake. This is not exactly how peony leaves are shaped. The leaves also have a flatness that I don’t like; I kept folding and creasing to make them look a little better. I may try going over them carefully with a cool iron.There are 50 blooms, 50 stems and 50 sets of leaves in the box. You do have to assemble them yourself. Most importantly, do not place the bloom on the narrower end; it will go right through the flower. Using the thicker end, the bloom and the leaves both fit well and stayed put, while still being adjustable to your needs.When arranged in a bouquet and placed in a vase, I think they looked great. As a single-stemmed flower, I wasn’t crazy about the look. To use singly, I’d probably just not put the leaves on the stem. There are some tiny leaves at the bottom of each bloom; these are very pretty and delicate, and that may be enough. The blooms themselves will look great on their own without the stems in crafting headpieces, barrettes, wreaths, and more.In all, it’s a plentiful bundle of pretty peony blooms that look and feel high quality. I just wish those leaves were cut a bit differently

Gorgeous Artificial Peonies, but the Leaves Fall Short
I received this on Amazon Vine in exchange for an honest review.First, I want to say how much I appreciate the packaging. The peonies arrived very well protected in a box, with each bloom positioned upright so they weren’t smooshed, bent, or twisted during shipping. Because of this thoughtful packaging, all of the petals came out beautifully. The blooms are tightly packed—almost like buds—so you do need to gently open them up if you want a fuller, more open blossom, but that actually adds to the realism and flexibility in styling.The peonies themselves are absolutely gorgeous. They are a high-quality artificial flower with rich color, depth, and detail that feels far more realistic than many faux florals I’ve seen. These would be perfect for table décor, centerpieces, shelves, or other decorative displays.However—and this is a big “however”—the leaves are a major disappointment compared to the blossoms. The quality of the leaves does not match the quality of the flowers at all. The peonies are a deep, rich red with beautiful dimension, while the leaves are a very pale green that lacks pigment and visual depth. In my opinion, the leaves simply do not complement the color of the flowers. Additionally, the leaves are oversized in proportion to the blossoms, which further throws off the overall look.There is also a functional issue with the leaves. The center hole where the leaves slide onto the stem is much larger than the diameter of the stem itself, which means the leaves slide down easily and do not stay in place. To make them usable, you would need to secure them with floral tape or another adhesive solution.I absolutely and unequivocally love the peonies themselves, but I am very disappointed in the leaves. If I were reviewing only the flowers, this would be a five-star product without question. Unfortunately, the leaves detract enough from the overall presentation that I have mixed feelings about the value of the set as a whole.I would definitely use these peonies as decorative accents or table centerpieces, but I would not use them as a bouquet—despite the images suggesting that use—especially with the current leaf design and color.

So much nicer than anticipated.
This is a very impressive bundle of faux peonies from Scawim. I ordered the Burgundy option and they arrived carefully boxed and in excellent condition. This is my first time using these DIY type faux flowers, (that require assembly) and I am genuinely amazed at how lovely they are. Now, the wire stems are very thin, and the leaves - while realistically shaped - are not patterned, and are a rather odd color. However, the blooms themselves are exceptionally beautiful and realistic. They have wonderful coloration, are perfectly shaped, and exhibit no fraying.My flower heads are consistently sized, with all of them measuring approximately 3 1/4" - 3 1/2" with minimal fluffing. Achieving the 4" size stated in the product description *might* be possible, but these peonies have an internal plastic frame to help them maintain their perfect shape. If you spread the petals too far out, that white plastic frame does show. They look much nicer if simply given a few gentle squeezes and left largely in their more compact state. They work wonderfully in bouquets, mixed arrangements, centerpieces, and wreaths. They are also stunning when accompanied only by some nice greenery and popped into a vase. Be aware, these flowers do not have exceptionally long stems - just under 12" - so they aren't ideal for tall, towering arrangements.Overall, I am very pleasantly surprised by these beautiful blooms. They are quite pretty, much better than expected quality, and are offered at an incredibly reasonable price - $33.99 for 50 at the time of my review. I like them very much and would recommend them to anyone looking for affordable, bulk peonies that don't look like either of those things. Thank you so much, Scawim - lovely product!
