Elegant Flowers Needing a Flower Bud Trim

These gladiolus are quite elegant and I’m glad to have them. They will be beautiful in an arrangement. The light yellow is so soft and pretty— just an exquisite blend of various shades of pale to light lemon yellow. The petals have a pretty, very light sheen, and a mild crimping of the petals that is just beautiful. These flowers are recognizable as gladiolus although they aren’t the most realistic, as most gladiolus have more smooth and recurved petals, face more horizontal, and are more closely packed. The buds on real gladiolus also have a very different form than the buds on these flowers, which look to me like orchid buds. (Maybe they were originally designed for artificial orchids and borrowed for these flowers?). So although these flowers are certainly pretty, they’re also certainly somewhat fictional. I’m going to cut off the orchid buds and just pretend I have some rare gladiolus with fully open blooms along the entire stalk.The gladiolus flowers do require some preparation to help them recover from travel and storage. In the photo with two bunches of three stems each, the flowers on the left have been individually treated with hot air from a hairdryer, while the flowers on the right have yet to receive this hot air treatment to help improve their form. I did notice some glue getting a little sticky during hot air treatment so it’s best to be careful in this process. Some of the petals have creases that don’t fully remove but may be improved significantly with hot air and hand pressing.

Really Pretty but Slightly Bent in Shipping

These champagne gladiolus flowers look really nice and soft, feels almost real. The colors are bright and they add a nice touch to my living room. The stems are bendable which is great for arranging, but some came a little bent from shipping. I had to use a hair dryer like it said to fix them. Overall happy with them, easy to take care of and no watering needed. Would recommend if you want pretty flowers that last!

These are definitely better-than-average artificial flowers. They are not going to fool anyone, but they are definitely realistic looking enough, and not cheap looking at all. The color is perfect, and there are few if any loose threads, which seems to be a thing with silk flowers. The best part is that the stems are very long. Most of my vases a tall so finding flowers with long enough stems is a plus. The stems are easy to bend or trim as needed.These flowers arrived smushed in an envelop, but fluffed up quickly and easily. For the price these are great addition to my decor.
