Beautiful Flowers, But Overpriced for What You're Getting

These are beautiful flowers. I love hydrangeas. But it should be said: these aren't going to fool anyone. They very much look like artificial flowers - from the petals and leaves all the way down to the stems. They are silk flowers, which do tend to look more artificial than flowers made of some other materials. Having said that, they are very pretty. I also love the shape of the vase they come in. They give you lots of petals, so you have a very full look. And I think the pink color is very pretty. I also appreciate that the flowers arrived in perfect condition. They were not at all bent or squished up.But there are some minor things that annoy me.There are a few silk fibers stuck in the "water" portion of the vase. Apparently, the fibers shed off the flowers during the manufacturing process, and they fell into the "water" and got stuck in there when it dried. I also have a very small nick in the glass vase on the front. The average person wouldn't notice it, but it bothers me. Also, you only get three large hydrangea leaves. And, unlike the petals, the leaves were out of place and needed rearranging. They didn't have enough wire in them to simply bend them back into place. I had to hot glue them to keep them in place. Also, if you position your leaves to have one in the front and two on the sides the way they have it on the product page, then you won't have a leaf in the back. For the price they are charging for this, they could have given us at least 4 leaves, so that the vase will look nice no matter which way you turn it. It would have also been nice if the vase had a little more "water" in it. The level of water is so low that you can barely see it in the vase.Overall, the flowers are lovely, and I'm happy to have them. But I feel the quality is lacking in several areas. If I could, I would give them 3.5 stars. For what it's worth, my mother loves the flowers and said she would give them 5 stars. And if the price were lower - around $20 or so, I would give them 5 stars as well. But for $45.99, I expected much more. Hopefully, the manufacturer will make some improvements down the road. This product has a lot of potential, and with some minor tweaks, this could be a 5-star product.

This Silk Pink Hydrangea Floral Arrangement in a thick glass vase is gorgeous with different shades of pink in the flowers. The glass vase is very pretty and has faux water at the bottom. It arrived ready to go right away out of the packaging. I added a string of 50 pink Led fairy lights into the vase which I think made this arrangement even prettier. It's a high-quality Silk Pink Hydrangea arrangement, and the size is perfect for decorating. Everything seems durable, and I feel it's a good value at the current price of $21.99. It would make a lovely Valentine's Day gift, and I recommend.

Pretty from afar, disappointing up close—and wildly overpriced

I’m a sucker for a beautiful flower arrangement, and faux florals like this are especially handy for staging photos. Unfortunately, this artificial hydrangea set ended up being more style suggestion than style solution.Color-wise, it’s fairly true to the listing photos. The petals have a soft ombré effect, fading from light pink to white, which is actually quite nice. From a distance, the flowers look reasonably convincing and full without needing any styling. Up close, though, the illusion falls apart. The silk petals have visibly frayed edges, and while the leaves look realistic, they crinkle when touched, which immediately gives them away as fake.The faux water effect is technically there—but barely. There’s so little of it (maybe about 3/8" in my vase) that it’s almost invisible unless you’re actively looking for it. If you do notice it, it looks realistic enough, but it’s hard to give it much credit when it’s essentially hidden.The overall material quality feels low, and the vase doesn’t help. It’s thick glass, but clearly very cheap-looking, with a prominent seam that’s visible from several feet away. If anything, the visibly inexpensive vase might pass in a rustic setting, but it feels completely out of sync with the price point.The arrangement arrived extremely well-packaged, with a custom foam insert protecting both the vase and the flowers, which likely explains some of the cost—but not enough to justify it. I own similar faux hydrangeas that look just as good (or better) in much nicer vases, and they were significantly less expensive.There are also a few stray fibers sitting on top of the faux water. I can’t tell if they’re embedded or just resting on the surface, but either way, it doesn’t inspire confidence. From far enough away, the arrangement looks fine. Close up, it really doesn’t.This arrangement is technically ready to decorate out of the box, but I probably won’t display it. It’s currently on my desk and will likely end up on a shelf or in a closet. I wouldn’t recommend it, wouldn’t buy it again in another color, and don’t think it offers good value for the price.
