This bouquet is perfect and it's beautiful!!!! Quality is very good and having the timer makes it so easy to enjoy! I was surprised when the vase wasn't part of the purchase so that was a surprise. Otherwise, I highly reocommend this lighted bouquet!
I chose the pink Artificial Hydrangea Bouquet Lamp, and I'm so glad that I did. These flower petals have a nearly life-like look and feel. Some of the 'made to look and feel real' flowers feel a bit too rubbery and heavy. These have enough weight to the petals to feel almost real, and they are softer to the touch, more like a real flower would be, compared to the rubbery ones. I could swear there was a faint floral scent after opening the bouquet up a bit. The lighting effect is nice as a night light, but I think they look their best in natural daylight, and you can't see the light bulbs unless you dig for them. The pink color has tone variations, ranging from very pale pink to almost a light bubblegum pink.I really do like this bouquet, and it's probably one of the nicest faux flowers that I've brought home, but there are a few things they could have done a bit better. There is a timer setting on the battery case. Off/Timer/On. With no included instructions, I went back to the ad page and saw that it lists 18 hours on and 6 hours off. Personally, I'm hoping that's a typo because I'd rather just have them on for the 6 hours in the evening before bedtime. I'll know by tomorrow!Another thing is that the bunch doesn't arrange out to much more than a flat circle since all of the attached stem lengths are just about equal. It would've been nice to have some variation in length, though they are bendable stems, so you can add an extra bend here or there to vary the heights, as long as it's not too obvious in whatever vase you choose to put them in. I messed with them for about 5 minutes, trying to get a bit more roundness.The other thing that's a bit inconvenient is that the battery case and on/off switch is at the bottom of the battery case and the wires are not long enough to put the case anywhere other than the bottom of the vase, and every time you have to take the bunch out to get to the switch, the tweaks that you did to the shape get out of place, so you have to mess with it again.It seems that all of the lights work, and there wasn't any damage to any of the parts, but coming without any vase, compared to other similar items on the market that do come with a vase, these seem a bit overpriced.
This is a nice-looking bouquet of white hydrangeas that comes with lights built in to the arrangement. It stands 15 inches high and about 8 inches in diameter,The vase in the pic is not included, nor are the required 2 AA batteries. The switch mechanism sits at the bottom of the vase or whatever you choose to put it in, so it is out of sight. The switch has 3 positions: on, off and timer, but there are no instructions. So if, and how, the timer function works is a mystery.Again, it looks nice, but value for the money is not there. Maybe if batteries were included, or there was a way to utilize the timer switch, then we are closer to a worthwhile purchase.
Homeseasons has another winner here with its light-up hydrangea bouquet. I bought their yellow and pink light-up tulip bouquets and love them, so much so that I got the pink, white and lavender light-up tulip bouquets for my Mom last Christmas. She adores them, and my Dad likes them, too.So when I saw that Homeseasons has a light-up hydrangea bouquet, I got the white one to check them out.They look great, though not quite as nice as their tulips. When my parents and friends first saw them with lights off, they thought they were real hydrangeas. (This happened with the tulips, too. It was only when the lights came on that they learned the tulips were not real.) When they saw the hydrangeas lit up, they loved the effect. Because the lights are strategically placed to not shine in your face like a flashlight, the lights give a magical, fairy lights effect that is quite lovely. With lights off the hydrangeas are white. With lights on, they look cream colored.The battery pack requires 2 AA batteries which are not included. There is a timer option for the lights that will automatically turn the lights on at the same time of day, keep them on for 6 hours, then automatically turn off. It does not retain the setting when you change the batteries. Love the timer setting!The big difference between Homeseasons tulips and hydrangeas is that the tulips “feel real”, so when you touch the tulips or their leaves they feel more like real tulips rather than artificial flowers. The hydrangeas, on the other hand, feel like artificial flowers and leaves, with that papery silk feel. What elevates the hydrangeas above other artificial hydrangeas is the amount of flowers in the bouquet which make it look very full, as well as the light placement which gives the hydrangeas an Ethereal effect.These hydrangeas work great as a night light or mood light. They look great while lit up in a lit room or a dark room.I will be getting two more for my Mom.Love them and highly recommend them!
