I’ve been using the 2-pack Mandala and Monstera artificial hanging plants for a little while now, and I have mixed feelings. There are definite pros and cons depending on what you’re looking for.On the positive side, these plants are a fantastic value for under $10. They’re long, trailing nicely at around 24 inches, and the two different styles add variety. The leaves have subtle color variations that make them look more lively than your typical single-tone plastic foliage. The pots are weighted and stable, so you don’t have to worry about them tipping over, and the stems are generally well-secured. They’re very low-maintenance and can be placed in rooms where real plants wouldn’t survive, like windowless bathrooms or pet areas. They’re also lightweight, easy to position, and can be fluffed and arranged to create a fuller look. In my bathroom, they instantly brighten things up and add a touch of greenery without the risk of soil or watering mishaps.On the downside, the quality is clearly plastic, and some of the leaves can break or pop off when unpacking. Close up, the shine and molded edges make it obvious that these are artificial. The arrangement can be tricky if you want a natural, draped look. There was a strong plastic smell initially but it faded after a few hours. These won’t fool anyone expecting a high-end faux plant, and the pots are relatively small, so don’t expect these to cover large areas.Overall, if you want an inexpensive, no-maintenance way to add greenery to shelves, bathrooms, or small spaces where real plants aren’t practical, these are a solid choice. Just manage expectations—close up, they are obviously artificial, but from a distance or layered with other décor, they add a cheerful, easy pop of color.

Tried real hard to love these..

I really really wanted to love these but the quality isn’t there, they are really surprisingly fragile. They’re very clearly plastic and made no attempt to look anything but plastic, which is fine, but while I was pulling the monstera leaf out of the packaging one of the vines popped off immediately and there’s no way to reattach it from what I can see. Also, the black soil look in the pot is colored styrofoam. I found this out when a chunk came off when I was trying to find out how to attach the vine back on. That said I still tested them out to see how they’d drape on my book shelf because I loved that wild disarray look in the product listing photo but I couldn’t get either to do that. Any way I tried to arrange them they’d fall back to their default position and I didn’t want to push it because I didn’t want anymore vines to pop off. I think these could look really nice despite the materials if you could get that natural arrangement on them and not accidentally pop any vines off in the process.. but as they are now and my experience with them, they just weren’t working for me.

Came broken twice

I wanted to add this to a laundry room for a maintenance free bit of green. Unfortunately, I ordered this and it came broken. I requested a replacement and that one came broken in the exact same way. Other than the largest tendril being broken off when it arrived, the plant is OK. It’s nothing spectacular and it is hard to move it into a realistic configuration. The leaves are clearly plastic, but up on a high shelf it would not have been terrible.
