Nice Full Sprays of Petunia Flowers (but you’ll probably need 2 sets)

These are very nice and full sprays with a unique design: there is a grouping of short-stemmed flowers at the very base with longer vines behind them. When you arrange these upside-down, you can bend the short-stemmed flowers into an upright position to mimic younger growth up top that hasn’t yet started trailing like the lower growth below (see photo). So these sprays are really quite well-designed.Each spray is 24 inches long from tip to tip; however, four of those inches are the “spikey” end that you will use to secure the spray into your arrangement. So there are really only about 20 inches of visible flowers from top to bottom.The set comes with only 2 sprays. If you will be using these in a planter, hanging basket, vase, etc., you will likely want to purchase two sets (for a total of 4 sprays). 2 sprays are just not enough to fill all sides except in very small arrangements. See the photo where I used my 2 sprays in the front of a large vase. I then placed some artificial delphiniums into the vase to hide the vase hole, and I think the result is actually quite nice. And this works for me because my vase is against a wall, so no one sees the empty back side (and the delphiniums fill the top). But I would need 2 more sprays to fill the vase if it were visible from all sides.One comment on realism: the flowers are fairly realistic for petunias. However, the leaves are not. The 5-pointed leaves much more resemble ivy than petunia leaves, which are more simply shaped as ovals or elongated ovals. In addition, petunias have sticky/fuzzy leaves, not the slick more shiny leaves these spays have. So if you are searching for authentic-looking artificial petunia plants, another brand might be a better choice. Otherwise, for a mixed-breed “ivy/petunia” artificial plant, these sprays really are very nice.And one last tip: each spray comes tied together with a small green twist tie in the center (which is not immediately apparent). Be sure to find each twist tie and remove it before you begin shaping the sprays.

Pretty, But Plan to Buy Extras

I ordered these hoping to give a couple of tired planters on our patio a quick refresh, and overall I’m happy with the look. The color is rich, the petals have that soft petunia vibe, and once you bend and shape everything, they do make a lovely little pop of purple. Straight out of the box they’re folded pretty tightly, but they open up easily with a few minutes of fluffing.A few things to know going in:• They’re not as full as the listing photos suggest.Each pick looks nice on its own, but two stems won’t fill a pot the way the product photos show. In a smaller planter or paired with existing greenery, they look great. For a larger planter or anything that’s visible from all sides, I’d plan on ordering an extra set.• Realistic from a distance, less so up close.The flowers read as petunias, but the leaves are definitely more “generic faux vine” than true petunia leaves. From a few steps back, though, the overall effect is very convincing.• Works better in hanging or trailing arrangements.The stem is short and all the branches cascade from one central point, so these look the most natural when they’re allowed to drape. You can use them in a pot, but you’ll probably need filler or foam to keep them from bunching in one spot.• Weather-friendly, but expect eventual fading.Mine have handled summer storms just fine so far. I’d still keep them out of direct all-day sun if you want the color to last more than a season or two.For the price, I wish the set included more, but the quality of the flowers themselves is quite nice. If you need a low-maintenance burst of color (especially in spots that are tough to keep real plants alive) these get the job done and look good doing it. Would recommend, just plan accordingly for fullness.

2 Realistic Artificial Purple Petunia Plants

These two artificial petunia plants are perfect in the hanging basket on my porch. They look realistic and the purple flowers really add a pop of color. These faux petunias can be used either indoors or outdoors and are made from premium UV resistant material. I like that the petunias can resist some harsh weather conditions such as sun, rain and wind. These plants are 29.5" long and 12" wide. The 2 artificial flower stems each contains 12 branches, with about 39 flowers, and each flower is about 1.9 inches in diameter. No pot or hanging basket is included. It's easy to bend, shape and fluff these purple petunias. These 2 artificial petunia are well prices and are well made and look so realistic.

Nice looking faux petunias

I ordered this pair of faux petunias to create an indoor arrangement. The deep green with vivid purple flowers was exactly the look I was going for and these looked to be the perfect fit.The faux arrangements arrived folded, but they were easily straightened and formed into a more realistic look. Each of the two are a little sparse to work well on their own, but the pair together form a lovely arrangement with plenty of flowers and leaves for a full look. Up close it’s evident that they are not real, but a few steps back and beyond, they start to appear much more realistic. The bottom part of the stem is plenty stiff to be inserted into floral foam or potting soil. Like I mentioned, mine will be used indoors so I can’t really comment on the UV resistance, but they do seem well made and would probably last a few seasons or more outside in the elements.Overall, these faux petunias are exactly the bright, fresh look I was going for. They are easily shaped, and paired, fill out quite nicely. The quality is quite good compared to some faux plants I’ve encountered, so they should last. They look reasonably real, especially at arm’s length or farther, and once potted and arranged, present a lovely floral focal point. Recommended with five stars.
