Beautiful and Wind tolerant

These fake hanging planters are beautiful! Initially I ordered the yellow one to see if they were acceptable. I loved it so I ordered 9 more- two of each color and another yellow one. Eight of them had the same pot as the first yellow one, but the second yellow one had a totally different pot (ugly and very inferior to the others see pic) that wouldn’t look good with all the others on my patio. I tried to call the company to see if I could get a pot that matched but was never able to make contact so I sent it back and planted my begonias in the hanging pot I’ve always used. They’ve been hanging on the south and west sides of my house for three months now and so far I haven’t noticed any fading from the sun (which I was worried about). I did have some birds try to build a nest in one, but I removed it before they laid any eggs. I have the hummingbirds confused too. I didn’t like the white cable ties that came with the pots so I got some black ones that matched much better. We have a lot of wind here (see video) so I filled each pot with 1” gravel to weight them down. Next year I think I’ll get four more for my front porch, but the pots better match!!!

Quite real looking

This is a very full flowering purple pretend plant. I love that the colorations make it look very believably real. There are a variety of greens for the leaves, and the flowers vary from purples to pinks. It's really quite lovely! The only reason I'm giving it four rather than five stars is because of the difficulty, for me anyway, of anchoring the sections using the zip ties. The set comes with four sections of plastic plant and four zip ties. No instructions. I read a suggestion from another reviewer to put the zip ties in first, then the plants, and tighten up the ties following. Sounds simple, but I found myself struggling for nearly an hour. Perhaps I'm just inept at such things. I wasn't sure how far down I should be placing the ties, and threading the ties through the basket was somewhat difficult. Then anchoring the plastic bases turned into something of a struggle. I did have fun arranging the flowering leaf portions once they sections were sort of in. It still feels a little precarious. I do think instructions -- not that I like reading them -- would have beens somewhat helpful. I did purchase through the Warehouse deals, so it's possible they were just missing. Finally, I had trouble getting the hanging chains back on and up over the pretty plant. It still looks a bit lopsided. It seemed necessary to unhook the chains prior to putting in the plant. I do wonder if some sort of florist foam bottom would have been easier to use than the zip ties. Might not be environmental, though. Also, it might look better if the zip ties were brown to match the basket rather than plain white which stands out. I plan to clip off the ends, and they are somewhat covered with plant, but they still peek through. Guess I could take out a sharpie, and overall, not that big a deal. In any case, the plant itself looks real enough that I have to remind myself not to water it. I keep expecting it to get dry and continue to grow. Enough to fool onlookers even close up! Overall, I am quite pleased!
