Just got this - assembled and fluffed the leaves and shaped the stems (super easy and quick) and voila! Just what the room needed to make it come together with a warm and inviting look ! Buy it - you'll be glad you did!
Looks like a real plant, even close up. Bought another loved it so much...
Gorgeous plant - gives me southern Cali vibes which is one of my favorite spots on earth! I am honestly shocked at the price point - this plant would go for a lot more at other retailers. It has spruced up my bedroom replacing a dying plant that I could never keep alive no matter what I tried. Low maintenance and beautiful ✅
For those familiar with tropical plants, Cordyline fruticosa is also known as the Hawaiian Ti plant. It is frequently used as an interior or exterior evergreen landscaping plant due to its sculptural form and thin trunks. Cordyline comes in two foliage colors: either magenta with green, almost black edges, or gradient greens from mid tones to darker often with a thin leaf edge in magenta. This artificial Cordyline is the green version and very realistic in foliage. The slightly magenta leaf margins are faint and very subtle, really only noticeable when you are closeup and shaping the leaves. It won’t factor in as a red color in anyway other than to give the plant “aliveness” and realism. The stems on this faux version are bendable allowing you to give the plant a natural curvy shape, true to how they grow. All the stems do not usually grow straight up in their natural habit, so the listing photo is a bit misleading. The stems arch outwards giving foliage plume their space to get sunlight. As the stem grows taller, they naturally shed their lower leaves, so at 6’, the height of this artificial version, the lower stems are bare, and very textural and sculptural.. This item recreates those qualities quite well.As an interior designer who works with a number of second homes and professional offices, I often need to use artificial plants where proper conditions for light, maintenence, and watering are impossible. I am always on the hunt for realistic plants for both interior and exterior use. The artificial plant market is rife with grossly expensive, yet poorly executed fakery which easily kills design and screams “fake!”. Therefore, I scour the market for good plant replicas, as close to the I natural color and habit as possible yet don’t break the budget or my reputation. This Cordyline so far passes muster. The project I ordered it for needs a lightly scaled, tall plant with some sculptural form. This fits the bill for size, form and color, but since the project is still months from completion, I have yet to fully unbox and shape it, or “plant it” in an upscale planter. I will post pictures when that phase is complete.(An aside for those interested, Cordylines are well paired with another tropical plant - Dracaena Marginata)I rate this Cordyline 5 stars for quality, scale, realism, proportion and color all at a great price point.
Since moving from Florida to Texas, I unalive any plant or flower I get. So, I have accepted that I will be an artificial flower and plant person from now on. This is my third tall plant, and it is different from any I have had. I wasn't sure about it once unpackaged, but it has grown on me... not literally. This plant is realistic, sturdy, and has withstood my cats climbing it. This plant comes in a basic plastic planter that isn't attractive and would look much better in a nice decorative planter, which I have yet to acquire. Overall, I am happy with this plant and recently moved it to my back covered patio, which is the great thing about artificial plants—you can place them anywhere!
This honestly might be the most realistic artificial plant/tree I have ever seen. Obviously when you get up close you can tell it's plastic, but from just a short distance away it totally looks real. I have it near the checkout of my shop and I have honestly tried to water it before realizing what I was doing. It's not in direct sunlight, so I can't vouch for its lightfastness, but so far it doesn't seem to collect as much dust as the fabric-style artificial plants do, and more than one person has complimented it, assuming it was real.I recommend looking at a photo of the real version when you're bending the wires in the leaves, so you can get the most lifelike look. Super happy with this one!
