These are very full and vibrant, and look quite lovely...no assembly required--very few bits fell off while fluffing them up and they were able to be popped back on. Unfortunately, they did come with a VERY strong chemically smell and took a while to air out... Also, there's no drainage holes on the bottom--so if you plan on using these outdoors you may want to poke some holes in to avoid the water just sitting there and getting gross.
My wife loves to have a nice outdoor planter all year round, however, where we live we get very harsh winters. This makes it hard to have some of the nicer shrubs sustain the sometimes sub zero temperatures we have each year. She does have several evergreen type of plants, but to keep it nice all year long she has reverted to these long lasting artificial decorations. They sustain the weather, all kinds from wind, snow, rain, extreme cold, and in spring/summer a lot of snow melt off , and rain...summer is not generally too hot so they always last through the heat as well. This set is very nice because they come in the small planters that are pictured in the vendor's description. The purple faux lavender and faux greenery are vivid, made well and have lasted. They are a high grade plastic and each piece measures17"D x 17"W x 17"H...We have enjoyed these, and the price is very economical for such quality.
These two are probably my favorite little bushes that I have out. I love the colors that they have. The size actually looks real, and they fit in just about anywhere.They have held up well through most of the summer and there hasn't been any fading. I plan on putting them up for the winter and breaking them out for next year as well. I'm very happy with them.
This is a nice set of boxwood topiaries with lavender. They look fairly realistic, especially from a distance. The lavender interspersed with the greenery only adds to the attractiveness of the set. The "leaves" are firmly attached and unlikely to come off unless really strong force was used. Unlike other topiaries that come with stakes to place them in the ground, these come with little black pots. They look okay, but I chose to put them in more decorative planters and I think they look better that way. These topiaries look great on either side of a doorway, at the end of a path, or on an outdoor patio. They are great that those that love the look of colorful foliage, but who don't have the desire or "green thumb" necessary to maintain it.
