So I ordered this artificial house plant, thinking that if it looks like most artificial plants, I'll just return it. I was more than pleasantly surprised.First of all, great care was taken with the packing, which is usually not done with lesser quality plants. Each leaf was individually covered and when I removed the plastic, the plant was very very realistic looking. It feels somewhat heavy for its size, so the heft makes it feel more realistic and I think makes it appear more realistic too. There is a thickness to the appearance of each leaf, as it would appear in nature. They did not scrimp on the manufacture.I am buying a new home so am looking forward to finding the perfect container and placing it in a prominent place based on it's realist appearance. I expect, based on it's quality, to have this last a long time. I highly recommend this item.

A good looking large artificial plant for indoors or outdoors

My wife loves this nice-sized realistic looking agave plant as we have a fairly poor track record of keeping plants alive. This plant looks good from a distance and, more importantly, close up. This is a fake plant that can be kept adjacent to seating areas without worrying that guests will quickly spot the faux greenery. That’s expected, though, given its price of $49! Only 4 stars from me due to modest value for the money. It looks great on our covered front porch. Quality is great, there’s some satisfying weight to its construction. It was packaged very well, with each leaf wrapped separately.

Fooled our neighbors

I'm a big fan of these. They look beautiful from a distance and up-close. Our neighbors asked about the new plants we planted and were so surprised to find out they're fake. The stem can be cut with a jigsaw or a handsaw if needed. We did this in order to "plant" them in a shallow planter. You could probably use floral foam blocks to take up some space, but we used cheap soil.I've had mixed experience with other brands. One brand lasted about a year in partial sun (east facing) before it lost some color and became brittle. Another brand has been on the same side of the house and still looks brand new. I'm excited to see how this brand holds up, but so far so good. We've had them in place for a few months and they still look great.Overall, I highly recommend for anyone wanting a beautiful, modern look for their home.

Big and gorgeous, realistic!

This 28'' Fake Agave Plant is very large in person, and the quality of the construction is excellent. It is uv resistant, so can be used outside or inside. It is very realistic in appearance, really looking like a live plant, but without al the hassle of the real thing. The green coloring is nice, not too bright or gaudy, so it adds to the realism of the piece. The stem also looks very realistic, woody and thick. It is long enough that it should hold up very well when shoved down into the dirt or rocks to anchor the plant in the container against wind. The packing is excellent, arriving in a box big enough for the item and with the leaves folded up in a closed position that keeps them safe and secure. Once unpacked, you just have to pull the leaves down and it takes on the form you see in the description images. It is a good value for the price and I would recommend this faux 28" agave to anyone looking to cut down on labor, while still having a nicely landscaped container garden.

It’s not a bad looking plant. Best for outdoor use where you won’t be too close to it.

This is a somewhat realistic plant (don’t get too close). It’s listed as an agave but I have real agaves and the color is quite a bit different, plus the edges of the leaves aren’t the same. But this plant looks like the photos on Amazon so it’s not like I was expecting something different.The plant is a vibrant green but could use more variation of color to look more realistic. If it survives the Arizona sun, it will probably fade somewhat and get dusty, both of which will make it look more lifelike.The price is definitely cheaper than a real agave plant. Time will tell if this proves to be durable or not, and whether it was priced accordingly.
