Worth the buy versus going to a local store
Very satisfied with the product coming from the company, ARLO. I ordered three blinds, two of the same, and one large set of blinds for the kitchen. I am the type that likes to do the homework, watch YouTube videos, DIY videos, search reviews, Reddit advice, spend half the day reading different forums and articles before I pull the trigger on what to invest in, since everything is pricier. I was initially skeptical, thinking I should be shopping at Lowe's or Home Depot. I did price comparisons and learned it was safer to order through Amazon (~$100 difference), as there were more companies specializing in blinds on Amazon, and the local blinds companies where I live didn't seem all that promising according to their customer reviews. The prices were lower on Amazon, and the quality was surprising. They give you a variety of sizes to choose from, depending on the width of your window, whether you are installing inside mount, outside mount, or even ceiling mount. It seemed the return process through Amazon is easier than Lowe's return policy; Lowe's has limited sizes, and if they were to cut the blinds to your specific width, you cannot return the blinds under any circumstances. The instructions were not that well written from ARLO, and the font size or lettering was a bit obscured to read on their small piece of paper, but I figured it out through common sense. The installation was not complicated; it saved me more money installing it myself versus calling a company to schedule and let a stranger in the house, since my hours at work are hectic and sometimes unpredictable. It is difficult to install yourself if you are installing a large-width set of blinds (70" wide), but possible. The smaller width blinds were a lot easier to install, and the second window was a better outcome than the first small window since I learned a better technique of how to install it without taking as long due to repetition. The only issue I found with one of the blinds was that I noticed a small plastic piece broken in the top frame box, probably from shipping and handling, which has the guts of how the blinds operate. It was not a big deal since it did not affect the functionality of the blinds. The valence blind clip was actually of great material and not too difficult to install. I would recommend buying blinds through Amazon, or at least 2" faux wood-type blinds. I am content with my purchase. I hope this review helps others make a decision.

Look great, seem to be good quality
I like these blinds and they were very easy to install. I can't give it less than 5 stars.The only thing I would change is that they should have used wood screws with heads tapered to be more flush to the mounting bracket. I ordered 36" and the blinds were exactly 36", but they wouldn't fit in an opening that was between 36.25" and 36.5" because of the width of the bracket metal (maybe 1mm thick) and the height of the screw head. Figure 3mm for the screw head, 1mm for the bracket steel width, double it for 2 brackets, and that comes to about about 8mm of additional clearance required, with is 0.33 of an inch. If the screws had been flush to the bracket, that would have allowed almost an additional 0.25 inches of wiggle room.UPDATE: Knocking them down to 4 stars. Be aware that the sun can warp the blades if installed in a non-climate controlled area like a garage or attic. Mine became quite bowed.

Cordless 2inch wood blind
Rec’d the blind today and were easy to hang with 1/8 bit drill. All went perfectly until I try to pull the blind down. They were so tight on the top I was afraid to break the cord. I read more on how to free the mechanism but not sure what to push. I decided to pull more forcefully and they came down slowly. It was to replace identical blind for the exception the top was 1/2 cm larger so I had to install the new brackets. I am very pleased. Not bad for 8 decades under my belt. Very good product, all was included. Easy to install, and arrived 4 days prior original shipment date

Quality, Price, and Great Value.
FANTASTIC! Purchased 10 ARLO blinds of various sizes to replace the 12 year old blinds in our home. Was able to reuse the existing hardware. Be aware that you may need narrower sizes (which ARLO sells) for some windows due to imperfections in the drywall. Had to get some that were 34", 34 1/4" or 34.625". Look great and work well. Would have spent thousands if I hired anyone do them.
