Simple Rug

I would say this looks more like carpeting than a rug, although it is finished around the edges. It is a decent quality rug that is true to size. The color of beige is neutral. I wouldn’t say it is super soft, but I really just got this as a throw rug because I go through so many rugs with dogs and the winter mess being tracked in and out, so I just needed something basic, and this served the purpose just fine. The price is pretty good for this size of rug. I have not washed it, and probably won’t because it is inexpensive enough to just replace once it gets to that point. I like that it does not slip-it does stays in place. It could be used in a bathroom, but I use mine in front of the garage door. Overall, it is a good basic rug.

This is NOT an "ultra plush thick pile" carpet

This area rug is just ok. My expectations were very different based on the description.Pros:- It is soft.- It is rubber backed.- The color is a white, not yellow, based "bone" color which I like. I feel like yellow based/hued colors tend to look dirtyright from the start.Cons:- The description says that this is an "ultra plush thick pile" carpet. In reality, it is a very sparsely piled carpet that I canvery easily get my finger between the fibers at the backing. It is even possible to see the backing depending on howthe carpet fibers are laying. It is so sparse that the fibers do not stand up, so while they might be close to .75" long,they don't look like it and just serve to cover the space in between the fibers. My animals will tear this rug up prettyquickly.- It also says that this is machine washable. That might be, but you're going to need a large capacity washer, and maybeeven one that doesn't have an agitator. The rubber backing is too much to even begin to get this rug in my washer.- The price point is too high for the quality of the rug.With having many animals in my house, I was looking for a rug that would not only compliment our current decor, but would be machine washable and therefore easier to keep clean. This will compliment the decor, but without being washable, the color I chose is never going to last very long. I think there are much better options out there, especially at this price point.

Door Clearing Comfort Hallway Runner

We were looking for an area rug that was 2x7 for our short and narrow hallway. This one fit well. It's a beige runner indoor rug that is noticeably plush under the foot, but even with the extra height 0.75 in pile, our hallway doors clear it without dragging or catching on it.The beige color is neutral and should blend into most décor, which is what we wanted for our hall area. Being washable and non slip were must have features for us. I still plan to put down some carpet tape as extra precaution but so far the runner does seem to be staying in place due to the backing material.Overall, it’s a comfortable, hallway friendly runner that feels more substantial than some of the thinner rugs we find in a similar price range.
