This is a wonderful pad. The thickness is just right, providing a plush feel underfoot. It stays in place on the floor and with my kitchen table on top the rug doesn't slide either.It fits well, being about 2 inches smaller all the way around. That allows the rug edge to lay smoothly on the floor. There's no weird smell or off gassing.While this pad is more expensive than the flimsy latex pads it's definitely worth the extra money. It makes your rug feel better and it will extend the life of your rug.

Great rug pad.

I needed a rug pad because my floor isn't completely level and I didn't want my table rocking. Also I didn't want to spend a ton. I've had Mohawk pads before so I know what quality pads are, and this one just as good. I tested the non slip before putting the table trying to center the rug and it didn't budge. I couldn't be happier with the price, quality, or functionality of this pad and highly recommend. I got the 8 foot pad and it's just slightly under that so no cutting required. No bad smell either. It does come folded but got flat quickly.

Great Anti-Slip Pad… and Surprise Cat Toy Maker

I used the Anji anti-slip pad under the faux-fur tree skirt I keep beneath my cat tree, and it’s been a total win. It was super easy to install—just cut it to the size you need, place it down, and you’re done. This thick and sturdy pad adds a bit of cushion and softness so my cats don’t hurt their little beans when they jump off the tree, and the grip is excellent. The skirt stays perfectly in place now, so extra level of safety for my little acrobats.The unexpected bonus? The leftover pieces I trimmed off instantly became Jaspurr’s new favorite toys. He’s obsessed with felt-like textures, and this pad feels like felt on top with a grippy underside. He stole a few pieces the moment I put them down, and they’ve been great for DIY enrichment. (Purrl, of course, was not impressed—but that’s very on-brand for her.). This pad material is very sturdy: it hasn’t been shred to pieces, although the “scraps” have been thoroughly Jaspurr-tested (claws and teeth).Functional, easy to work with, and apparently cat-approved in more ways than one. Perfect for small home projects and spontaneous playtime.

my 6 foot round rug was flipping up around the edges. i had hoped to use double stick carpet tape with this rug pad to hold the edges down. had to cut it up to finally make it work.the pad was lovely otherwise.

Buyer beware! Not truly 6', more like 5'6" in my case.

The rug mat seems to be well made, but it is not close to 6' as advertised and in the listed product description (72"x72"). I would be rate this higher if it was 5'10 or higher as you dont want the rug mat to be exactly the same size as the rug. However, 6 inches in diameter short seems off. Especially when you see other reviews stating the same.
