Nice Rug

My review for Andecor 2 × 6 feet runner rug in color purple, purchased June 2025. Overall a nice piece of carpeting, made of good quality material and construction. It is not fluffy, shaggy, or furry as noted in ad description (I think that was a difference in translation or I am still thinking 1960s shag carpeting). But it is of sufficient density and pile thickness to be noticeable and comfortable underfoot. The bottom layer of polyester seems non-skidding, but the surface velour-like polyester/polypropylene fabric is noticeably smooth and silky in bare feet. The purple color is definitely not like in the ad photo, but a very dark deep purple (almost black even under bright overhead light). Hopefully this runner will last longer than a similar, and more expensive, 2x6 bathmat purchased from another company through Amazon in Dec 2024; that one lasted only 3 to 4 months before most of the memory foam and microfiber crumbled apart and spilled out. This rug has a softer backing so it might be more durable and last longer. It took four days for the packing creases and shipping folds to almost disappear. For the price, it is a good value and we recommend when on sale (we purchased in June before the USA-imposed tariffs). So far am pleased, but a more vivid brighter purple color, as seen in the ad, would have been much more appreciated.

Cat friendly rug

I have had this rug since March. It is super soft and nice to walk on.I was hesistate at first since when it came it had a ton of creases in it. I used my steamer and the creases went away.My cats have their claws and they like to destroy every rug I have ever purchased. Luckily since this one is made from microfiber it can take their claws digging in it. No signs of scratches on the rug even thought they've attempted several times to destroy it.As for dog and cat hair. Since it is microfiber it rests right on top. We use a Chom Chom to get any pet hair in between vacuuming and it works great.My only complaint about the rug is that it is slightly difficult to vacuum. We found using the wand on the vacuum with an attachment works best. Since it is only a 5x7 rug not a huge inconvenience.Overall, I found it is worth the money. It is a cheap rug that has held up a house with 2 cats and 1 dog.

Not machine washable

First the pros: the rug is soft, the creases came out of it fairly easily after a few days on the floor in use. We bought it in January '24 and right up until September of '25 it's been a great little rug. Easy to spot clean, light enough to take outside and shake. It is a little hard to vacuum with anything that has good suction, but the low setting on our stick vac and some strategic standing of the ten-year-old on the corners made it work just fine.Cut to this week, our cat had an accident on the rug that spot cleaning didn't really tackle well, but I remembered it's supposed to be machine washable. Followed the directions exactly, expecting a nice clean rug.Well it's ruined. Lumpy, wrinkly, no amount of gentle coaxing or forcefully trying to pull it all back into alignment has made it lie flat again. Not the end of the world, but really frustrating that it's not even two years old and it's advertised as machine washable and yet, here we are.It's not a bad rug, especially for the price, just don't expect to be able to wash it.
