These are expensive but they are just what I needed. The shiny silver rectangle blicks catch the light day and night and have that retro feel. These are not like any velvet I've ever seen. They are kind of rough in texture. Not a nice silky curtain, but light filtering and very shiny. True to color. Deep Gold.

These curtains are very nice. Colors are just like in the pictures. Look very good in my space. I spent several hours steaming them from the back side(because they are velvet) and the wrinkles and creases softened but did not go away completely(see pic #2) I am fine with the way they look but a perfectionist might not be.
