The color is very elegant. Mine is teal with gold tint. Depending on the lighting, the gold part can shine more or less, so the curtain color is never boring in one color. I also really like that the curtain blocks sunlight completely, but unlike some sun-block curtains, this curtain is not heavy. My previous curtains were three times heavier. Theses curtains are so pretty and luxurious OMG ! They look like high end quality. They block the sunlight out perfectly for me total darkness. However, my window faces south I live in Southern California so I don’t get direct sunlight, but it definitely gets very bright so as far as blocking direct sunlight, I can’t honestly say, but it does darken well. No sunlight comes through the curtains, I am happy with my purchase. You will not be disappointed. They are very soft and light ,they’re not heavy and stiff at all. I had no funny chemical smell they were packed well there were slight wrinkles, but within a day they had fallen out.

Good light blocking

1 curtain looked good, the other had a bad seam line. This is the gold color. The photo was taken in a warm light setting to give an idea of color. It does a good job at light blocking and has good thickness compared to another brand I got prior. Overall nice set of curtains but I may move the one with the bad seam to the other window against the wall to hide it. Granted I didn't try to contact the company about a replacement, so I don't have any comment on their customer service either.
