Crooked, Chipped, and ALMOST Useless.

I bought both the floor ($56) and tabletop ($25) versions. The idea is fantastic, but the execution is a disaster.Tabletop stands ($25): none of the picture holders were straight — every one was crooked. The powder coating was so thick that the slides wouldn’t even fit, and forcing them stripped the finish right off the poles. They’ll hold a flimsy, thin frame, but not a real canvas or standard piece of art. Again, the only saving grace was that the weighted base was actually weighted and did not tip over. The art you see held in the picture actually has fallen out three times. I came up with an alternative way to use it and thank God I was creative because that’s the only way it was gonna work! I have since repainted the countertop ones and reworked the fittings and they’re going to suffice!

back brace doesn't fit together well

I like the style and wanted something that would fit in a bookcase. This stand fits by just an inch. Very stable base. The only thing that kept it from five stars is the two upright pipe pieces won't screw together tightly. I could get it attached enough to hold the frame, but it's a little wobbly. Since it's in a protected area (bookcase), it's fine. I don't know that I would put it on a end table where it could get jostled. Maybe someone else could force them together.

Improvised beautifully

I chose this easel because it would have held my customized canvas perfectly, or so I thought! The canvas arrived with thicker depth dimensions than what was listed on the site, and I had to improvise with the easel by inverting the horizontal brackets so that they grabbed and hung from underneath the wooden frame of the canvas (if that makes sense). Anyway, it actually turned out better that way because it creates a “floating” look. I love this easel!!

Great idea; poor execution

Such a disappointment. While it was exceptionally easy to assemble, the finished product looked like the "leaning tower". Not due to damage - simply, that the product quality assurance department didn't notice that once the parts were threaded together, they weren't straight. Poorly fabricated. And such a shame, because the size of the easel is substantial. The build quality of the merchandise is significantly lacking and it shows.
