The cutest and also the most useful little easel and display stand

The cutest and also the most useful little easel and display stand. I love this! I have an artist in the house and being completely lacking in talent and experience, I have had no idea how to frame or show the pieces painted on the thick stretched canvas. We have one piece they did of my dearly departed cat that I stuck on the wall with command strips :(. well now enter this awesome little easel/stand. Putting it together is super easy and the instructions are clear. It is infinitely adjustable within the length of the vertical bar (so not for large pieces). The acrylic is sturdy and smooth, arrived well packed with no scratches. The sticky pads on the bottom hold is solidly on a flat surface but they don't cling so it can be moved anywhere at any time with no damage to the surface. Its very lightweight but also very sturdy, not easily tipped over (I should know, I have two cats). Just an awesome item. I may have to fight to keep it here rather than relinquishing it to said college artist for their dorm or studio.

Not a favorite stand, but performs a couple unique tasks invaluable for niche setups

The bar and base of the easel/stand look nice. The quality of the acrylic seems good, and resists incidental scratching. I don't see it being viable as an Easel, as it does not have the stability or heft to support interaction or pressure from the artist, but it makes for an okay stand.As a stand, it can be very striking, if viewed straight-on or looking upward. In most ways, this makes for an inferior stand, as it is difficult to account for eye level for a large audience, especially at a wedding, and so many less favorable angles will be visible.On the other hand, it does do one thing uniquely, and that is again, presenting images at a downward angle, to be viewed looking up. This is a neat trick that most easels and stands cannot accomplish. For rare circumstances where surrounding tables or shelves will be filled with images, a set of stands like this can make a compelling display. I tried placing it on a shelf near a tv, which, when viewed from a couch, did give a great view of the photo, that otherwise got little attention due to other stands facing upward.Another unique trick is that both claps can be faced upwards, allowing for two images to be vertically stacked, if small enough to both fit on the frame.In terms of ease of use, it's a very simple stand, taking moments to unpack and set up. The clamps slide with a bit of resistance, so they don't fall easily. However, there is no setting or marking, so if arranging a number of stands for a display or event, it could be very tricky to set them all at equal heights.Overall, it's far from my favorite stand, but for the two tricks (downward angle, multiple images) that it performs, it could certainly be of great use to certain people.

Nice item and convenient to use

I think the price is good for this adjustable easel stand. It's a convenient product. I can display artwork in the middle of my large kitchen island now, and I appreciatethat. I got this easel primarily to display a large sign at my daughter's baby shower. I was going to use it to display a sign in an acrylic poster holder, which has a nice cohesive look, but I realized that my gold metal frame will look great too. I like the sturdiness of the post and the parts that hold the picture. However, I really wish the parts that hold the picture were not white plastic instead of matching acrylic, because that would look much better from the back (which is visible where I will be displaying it). The pieces fit together easily. It took a little bit of adjusting to get the parts that hold the picture in place to sit completely even. I was annoyed that they didn't make the effort to cover the thick acrylic bar at all. It came uncovered and has small marks and scratches on it. It would have taken very little effort to cover it, even with a piece of paper, and it would have arrived in better condition. It can hold a very thick item if needed. Overall, I like the easel and will find good use for it.
