Small stylish rug, good for hallways

The Adel Modern runner rug is soft to the touch and made from quality material. It has a nonslick surface at the bottom, keeping the rug in place. It has some thickness to the base, giving a slight cushion when walking over it. The size is just right for my hallway, which is a standard size about 1.5 of a door frame's width.The color of the rug gives a modern look with accents of abstract art. The rug is easy to clean if you own a carpet cleaner. However, I do wish this rug were machine washable. If vacuumed and maintained regularly, it will stay looking just as good as when you got it. I am very happy with the product overall; it was just as described.

Nice geometric pattern. Very soft but not particularly dense.

I got this rug to layer on top of my very low pile carpet because I have a high traffic area and want to protect it from too much wear. I wanted to create a super comfy area where this rug will anchor a sectional and ottoman. The first thing I noticed is that this is not your typical loomed wool or yarn material, with the description saying it’s polyester. It looks and feels like a low pile microfiber material, which sounds weird but it feels very soft and nice to the touch. When you walk on it barefoot it feels silky smooth, definitely different from a normal wool rug. If you're used to traditional rugs made with heavier fabrics, it may take a bit to warm to this lighter, fluffier material.The geometric pattern of the rug is very nice and subtle, helped by the solid monochrome cream color. Overall, the rug is thinner than I expected and it does not have a padded or non-slip backing. As I have it on top of low-pile carpet its not really an issue. But on a wood floor, I’d highly suggest a pad to give it a little extra cushion and grip.
