Excellent price for an attractive quality rug

This review is for "Abani Evelyn Collection Beige Area Rug - 4' x 6' - Floral Pattern ...". If you find this review linked to a different product, please disregard the review.This rug is a little thinner than I had expected, but looking back at the photos and the video, they do make it very clear that this isn't a super thick, plush rug. For us it's perfect though, because it's going on top of some old medium-pile carpeting that's ugly as sin but that I'm not ready to replace quite yet. If the rug were too thick it'd feel and look weird and would be a tripping hazard, so for our situation it's perfect.At first I felt like the pattern kind of made it seem like a very, very old rug that had most of its color and design worn away. But it's grown on me, and others have told me they can tell right away that that's the intentional design, especially since it does match our beige sofa and chair. I'm now also realizing that it's in a high-traffic area of our house, so this pattern and coloration will do a good job at hiding random footprints and small stains.One thing to be aware of is that two of the four sides have a short little edge of fringe. It looks nice enough, but if you're like me and have a pet who will mess and mess and mess with those things until they've completely unraveled, you may need to be clever in terms of how you position this rug and/or what you strategically place on top of it to avoid that problem.All in all I feel like this is an excellent deal for the price ($17.99 at the time I ordered it) and will improve my home for years to come.

Nice Low-Pile Rug For A Smaller Room

I got this rug to go in a room where we just replaced carpet with a wood look tile. Because it’s smaller than the space I got it for (knowingly), it’ll be a temporary solution to absorb some of the sound in the room until I find a more room size-appropriate rug that I think goes well with the decor. Because we are not yet finished with the rest of the remodel of the room, I didn’t want to shell out hundreds of dollars for something that may not have ended up working with the other design choices we make for the room. After its temporary use in this room it will work perfectly in our smaller spare bedroom.Even though this is a thinner low-pile rug, it is still quite soft and actually feels rug or carpet-like, not like a thin mat that some other low-pile rugs tend to be. The print of this rug as well as the colors are accurate to the listing photos. It is a nice, neutral, vintage-like print. Even though the listing photos seem to show that the two shorter ends are slightly frayed, all four edges of the rug are actually finished which I actually prefer. The rug was rolled very tightly and because of that there are some really deep ripples in one end of the rug that a table and books have not been able to flatten yet, so I will probably have to use a handheld steamer to see if that will help them relax so the rug will lay flat on its own. Overall this rug seems like it is really well made and that it will be durable over time. I’m really pleased with this order.

Heavy duty rugs

The vast majority of rugs you see these days on Amazon tend to be the soft washable kind that come folded and vacuum sealed. They're soft, but that's about their only advantage, they're so soft they don't hold their shape on their own and easily scrunch up just from walking on them.These carpets however are more your traditional hard backed rugs you find at retail in a giant roll.The backing is very rough and rigid, and will of course never bunch up or lose its shape. It does mean the bottom is a bit scratchy so it will need some kind of carpet padding sheet underneath to help keep it from slipping.If you're using this on carpet then there's nothing else needed and it will stay wherever you put it.The print quality on these seem quite good for the one I got and goes well with the beige subdued hues for my walls and wooden floors.These are on sale right now for like 80% off so that's quite a good deal and much cheaper than retail even, but I'm not sure I would spend the full price for these.

Soft, low pile, not machine washable

This rug is exactly as shown in the product description.The 4 x 6 size and colors work well for our room. The colors are muted browns, taupes and greens. It's kind of an aged or washed-out feel.It is soft to walk on, but it is a flat weave, so not super plush. It is not made of natural fibers. It is not machine washable. Instructions for cleaning are on a sticker/tag on the back of the rug.It arrives rolled up and took about 2 hours for the shorter edges to lay flat after being weighted down with books. Manufacturer instructions suggest reverse rolling it to remove ripples and help the edges lay flat.The back of the rug is not rubberized or grippy at all. A non-slip rug mat may be needed to help keep it in place on wood or tile flooring.It's a nice area rug for the price, especially when a coupon option is available.
