Faux fur is not the same as low pile

The 2x10 size is accurate and fits well in a hallway or long narrow space. It lays flat and the overall dimensions are exactly as described, which I appreciated.The pattern is nice and only slightly fuzzy compared to the listing photos. It’s not dramatically different, but the print isn’t quite as crisp in person as it appears online.My main issue is the texture. Although it’s labeled as low pile, the surface has more of a faux fur feel than a traditional carpet or woven runner. I personally dislike that soft, synthetic, slightly fuzzy texture. Very soft, great length, minor cosmetic issue from packaging

This runner is unbelievably soft underfoot—honestly one of the softest low-pile runners I’ve owned. The softness alone is 5 stars....The 2x10 size is perfect for long spaces like hallways or kitchens, and it fits nicely without feeling bulky or getting in the way. The non-slip backing works well, and it stays put on the floor. It also feels comfortable for bare feet and pet paws.My only issue is cosmetic: it arrived folded, and the creases/pile direction caused some uneven color shading that made parts of the rug look faded straight out of the package. This seems to be from shipping rather than the actual dye, but it was noticeable at first. I got this pink floral rug for a hallway in the kids play area that leads to outside, it gets high traffic especially with muddy and snow covered shoes, so washability was really important to me.
