It doesn’t work.
As an engineer, I should have noticed a design flaw. Air flow is restricted and the charcoal goes out shortly after putting on the lid/top. Looks cool but is useless as an incense burner.

Understated, minimalist, natural stone-look, container for incense. Fits any decor. Easy to use. I love this incense burner. The inside, I believe, is best made for burning incense cones however I have more of the incense sticks. What I did was broke my incense sticks and just burnt them in smaller sections. The top fits well to keep it more safe so there's no hot area for anyone to touch and possibly burn themselves. On the inside you have a little metal or copper colored piece with holes where the incense sits on that allows you to stand up a small portion of an incense stick and also provides a place for ashes to fall through to the bottom. It's not large but not teeny either. It fits well in the palm of your hand and is approx between the size of a baseball and a softball. It has a natural stone look but you can tell it's not natural when you look closer at it because you can see some unfinished places where the holes hadn't completely been cleared out from a molding machine or a mold that it came out of. This doesn't really affect the usefulness of the holder and you can further punch and sand down those areas but its not bad at all. Goes great with a minimalist decor style but also works great and is pretty in my maximalist-style decor home as well. I do really like that ashes are contained in the ball and don't shed all over the counter surface like with the long incense stick holders do. I'd recommend this and find it a handsome and useful piece of decor if you like to burn incense. I received this in exchange for a Vine review and am happy with having, using, and displaying it in my home.
Paint runs off the inside after using it for a month or so. Not a big deal but if you touch it gets everywhere which is annoying.
It’s plastic, not stone. Very disappointed and not even worth returning.
This is pretty cool... Easy to use. all parts just settle into each other. The inner cup for burning the incense is easily removed to clean. I've used loose leaf sage in the cup and with the top having nice large holes, it was easily distributed into the room. It's a usable size and doesn't take up a lot of room. One thing to note is that the two pieces do not screw together or snap together...it just sits on top of the bottom piece. I would say be cautious if you have little kids or dog tails that could knock the burner off the table... Love the look and easy to use! Heavy duty material but also lightweight.
This item looks just as described and is perfect for incense cones. We burn a lot of incense and most of our incense holders are wooden, but I like this more modern and inconspicuous design. It's a bit bigger than I expected, but that's probably for the best as some incense cones are much larger than others. The holes on top are plenty big enough to allow air flow and allow the scent/smoke to waft out and the exterior design is a bit textured to look almost like it's made of stone. This is perfect for a kitchen or bathroom, in my opinion, because of it's "spa" design.
