Nice, soft, flexible rug (pet approved)

I ordered this rug to help cover a very worn area of our hardwood floor that is near the area where our pets' food and water dishes are. This will both protect the floor from further damage until we can get the floors refinished and also cover the ugly worn area from view.I was surprised when this rug came in a small box, as I was expecting it to come in a large roll. I was doubtful that this would unfold neatly and be a quality rug because I hadn't seen rugs come in boxes like this before.However, it has unfolded nicely. The rug itself is very soft. We haven't walked on it a lot, so I don't know yet how durable it will be (but so far, so good). We also have not had to wash it yet, but it does seem pretty flexible, since it unfolded nicely from the box.The back is a sort of grippy rubber, so it does stay in place well.As you can see, the rug is cat-approved.
