Great Value, Velvety Feel

I love standing on this rug in bare feet because the pile is soft and velvety against the skin. I got this in two different colorways. Both of them have white as the predominant color. It's not cream, but white in the background. So I do worry that it will begin to show dirt or stains after awhile, but so far it has been fine. I've put it in a high traffic area in front of my kitchen sink and I've found that if I splash water, it tends to bead up on the surface and not sink in. So I believe that it is naturally stain resistant. I haven't tried to wash it in a washing machine yet, but I have seen that it takes spot cleaning very well, as well as vacuuming. The design works well if you have an "antique" or "shabby chic" aesthetic. It looks great in my house which is mainly full of second-hand furniture from the 1960s-1980s in classic and colonial styles. If I could pick again, I'd get one that had a darker colored background, but that's on me. The rug shipped folded up but it didn't have a noticeable seam, and it didn't have the chemical smell that some rugs have when they are new. So far, this seems to be a great value and it definitely looks more expensive that the list price when I ordered it. It makes washing the dishes a more enjoyable experience because my feet are happy and because it is non slip, I don't worry about slipping.
