Good design and feel, but not sure about durability

The rug looks nice in person and the color matches the photos well, so it fits easily into the room décor. The top surface feels smooth and soft underfoot, while the bottom has a typical bathroom-rug style textured backing that helps it stay in place. It arrived compressed in the package and expanded to about 5 x 7 as described, with okay thickness and neat stitching along the edges. The description mentions that it is machine washable, but I’m not fully confident how well it will hold up after many wash cycles over time. It seems like it will absorb liquids but it is not waterproof, so spills may soak in instead of sitting on the surface. Overall, for this design and size it feels like a good buy, but I do think the price could be a bit lower for the quality offered.
