Got this to frame up our marriage certificate and it pairs perfectly. Lucky to have a friend who's a proficient calligrapher (and our officiant) making our certificate all the more nicer to look at - great to have a frame that compliments it, too
These are very well made and durable. Very solid corners. I used two of them in my gallery wall display and kept a couple more because I liked them so much.
This is a great looking high quality picture frame. The wood that they used is beautiful. The corners look like they were joined with care. The box joints look extremely nice. The back of the frame looks like a thicker MDF. The back is tightly fit and somewhat difficult to place back in after you’ve put your image inside the frame. You’ll have to mount your frame with two nails. It has two spots on the back to position your nails with, and keep your frame level. The frame can be mounted in either landscape or portrait orientation, and an either orientation. You do have to use to nails to mount the frame. The glass is very nice and it is actually glass btw. No plastic here. The frame is it extremely sturdy, despite not having any nails in its construction. The frame is not the thickest I’ve ever had. It’s kind of an average thickness. I’ve placed a nice family photo in my frame, but I’m displaying an abstract piece here for privacy. I think this frame is extremely nice and it’s perfect for showing a nice family photo in. I went with the walnut stain which turned out very nice. I think they did an excellent job staining the wood. Most of the frames I have bought recently, have not been real wood and actually cost as much, if not more than this frame. This frame is an excellent value at the asking price. I will absolutely be buying more of these frames in the future. I highly suggest this frame to anyone who’s in the market for a higher quality, real wood frame. It’s a rock solid five out of five stars.
This Venusmiles 16x20 frame is a nice wooden frame with real glass. They have hanging brackets for either direction and the hardware to hang it included.I like the rich dark color and the wood frame is just a simple frame with nothing extra or embellishments but it’s nice real wood and glass which I prefer. I really appreciate that they included a mat for 11x 14 and that is why I got this size because my family photo decided to fall off the wall the other night and cracked so now I need another nice one in the large size because I like the look of it in the large frame with the matte which is what is was in but the corner broke. So now I will be using this one as our new family photo frame.In all this frame is a nice simple frame but is made of wood and real glass which is so much nicer then cheap plexiglass and plastic. The price is not bad for a frame of this size either. It came packaged nicely to keep it safe also.
Beautiful frame, feels sturdy and well constructed. I've bought multiple frames claiming to be real wood and recieved total trash, this one really feels like solid wood! The glass is glass not Plexi or plastic, and there are saw tooths on the back two for each orientation. Sometimes you really do just get what you pay for, picture frames tend to be one of those things! Even the middle piece that cuts the frame (mat) is thicker and a good color white, overall this frames beautiful and makes me want to upgrade the cheaper ones I'd bought just to get something up on the wall. Now I know to take the time and spend the money.
This is a gorgeous, quality wood frame that's worth the price. The frame was obviously made with care, and has no blemishes or wood seams, and it's a treat to have real glass. The color is just slightly darker than I pictured it being -- it's definitely oak, like a kitchen cabinet, and not the lighter birch color you see on a lot of frames -- but having real wood and being able to see the grain is such a classy boost for any piece of art. In terms of practicality, the back is wonderfully easy to take off and put back on, but I'm not a fan of having double sawtooth hangers, which means getting two nails the exact right width apart and exactly level. The nail hardware is included, but I still might run wire between the sawtooth hangers so that I only have to deal with one hole in the wall.
