I am pretty satisfied with this carpet. It has a nice green color that looks very attractive and matches extremely well with my olive green couch. The texture is smooth and comfortable, and despite being a large 8x10 size, it is light enough to carry and move around without too much effort. Another great point is that it is machine washable, which makes cleaning very easy. Overall, it is a practical addition to my space.

Love it so far
This rug is so soft and, when barefoot, it is like walking on a blanket. It is described on the care label as "faux cashmere". It is nonslip, the rubber backing provides a good grip on our wood floor and I tried several times to make it slide but it didn't budge. It vacuums easily and quickly just make sure the brush setting is off. I have discovered that it is easy to spot clean as my little dog migrates with her food and has decided this rug is a nice big dinner table. We coat her food with a digestive powder so there is always residue left behind. The spots have cleaned up quickly with a little dish detergent and water. Because it is a very thin synthetic fabric, I am not sure how durable it would be in an area with a lot of foot traffic. We have ours in front of our couch so it should last longer. As far as care, this 8x5 rug is machine washable however, to access a washing machine large enough a trip to the laundromat might be necessary. This could probably withstand a small carpet shampooer for spot cleaning as long as a gentle cleaning agent was used and not solvents. I am anxious to see how long this rug will last and how it will stand up to a washing machine cycle. Overall, this is nice rug that feels good under your feet but at @ $ 70.00 (not including the $ 20.00 off coupon) it seems a little expensive for what is essentially a big blanket on the floor.
