Beautiful rug for light use

This is a beautiful rug, and like everyone says, it is so soft. I ordered the green and it is perfect for my formal dining room, underneath the table and chairs. Something important to know, if you get the green, it is truly a blue-based green and not a yellow-based green. I knew that, so it works. I would even say that it is more of a dark teal than a Christmas or forest green. This works beautifully with my green dining room, which is blue-green. If you have beige or grey or white walls, as most all Americans do, then this color differentiation will not matter. It goes with any neutral. Just keep in mind if you have a colorway you are working with. It is soft, yes it is very thin, but under a table and chairs, it will not be. I plan to buy the thin rug pad for underneath the rug they sell on Amazon. I have wood floors and a rug will get worn out faster without a rug pad. If you have children and dogs etc and this is the main rug, I would not buy a washable rug for that. You need a thicker quality rug for children and dogs. Also, I ordered the 8x10 and this rug would not fit in my standard washing machine and dryer. I think I would spot clean it, if necessary, because of the size, with a gentle soap and water and air dry. Or. I thought if there is a big spill, I could drag it to the bath tub and wash the spot there. Just some thoughts to help you. Now, about the folding lines in it. It does arrive folded up tightly, so the listing tells you to use heavy books, iron it gently with a tea towel on the rug between your iron and the rug. and on a synthetic setting on your iron, so as not to melt the synthetic rug. I plan to iron mine with the tea towel in between on a low setting. Now, this rug is so fantastic that I am going to refinish my antique dining table and recover the chairs. You know something is nice when you want to improve everything around it.

Really nice, especially for the price.

Happy with it, especially for the price. The print and color saturation are really good for such a low price. That white creases you can see in one of the close up photos, all it took was using my foot to sweep in the direction of the pile and it went away, simple. I bought the green one in an 8x10, the lighting in my dining room is dim. The bulbs are 3000K, but the slag glass within the stained glass window casts a warm glow and the paint on the wall is a sherwin williams color, "Garden Gate", I feel like in my warm, green dining room, the rug reads more blue than I would have liked. Hopefully this info helps you better figure out if the rug color will work for you. To those who complain about how thin these washable rugs are, use your brain, they're thin because they are meant to go in your washer. I'm not sure why this is such a hard concept for people to understand. If you don't want a thin rug, buy a plush rug pad or accept that you can't have a washable rug. I would recommend those rug grippers for the corners, especially if you have kids or pets running around, I could see this rug getting kicked up easily. Not a big deal at all, rug grippers are a cheap solution for this affordable, easy to wash rug.
