We bought this to go under our bed in the Master Bedroom. When we put it down, it looked great in the room and brightened it up. Then we stepped on it - WOW! I did not expect to have a plush feeling. This rug feels great on bare feet. We have other washable rugs - none has the feel this one does. Glad we decided to buy this one.
I ordered this gray and white rug in the 5 x 7 size for my living room to replace an older one that had seen better days, and this one has been an upgrade in every way.The size is perfect. It fits beautifully under my coffee table and curves nicely along my L shaped couch without looking awkward or undersized. It really helped pull the whole space together.The pattern is gorgeous in person. It has that soft, slightly vintage look that works well with a lot of decor styles without being too busy or too plain.I actually already own another variation of this same rug in my bedroom, plus a couple of the smaller 2 x 3 versions at my bedside. So when I saw this one, I already knew what to expect and grabbed it immediately.One of the biggest selling points is that it is washable. It literally folds up like a blanket and can go in the washing machine if your washer is large enough. My other ones wash really well and come out looking clean even in high traffic areas, which is a huge plus for lighter colored rugs.The backing is also excellent. It is completely non slip and does not budge. I love that I do not have to tuck it under the feet of my couch to keep it in place. Even in a busy area like the living room, it stays put.Texture wise, it is incredibly soft. It honestly feels like a baby blanket under your feet, but still has a durable, heavy duty feel. It is not thin or flimsy at all.The only small downside is vacuuming. Because it has that soft, foldable blanket like structure, my vacuum tends to suck it up even on a higher carpet setting. I usually just sweep it instead, which honestly works fine and is easier.Overall, I absolutely love these rugs. Between the softness, non slip backing, washability, and durability, they are a fantastic option. I will continue ordering other variations whenever I see them available. Highly recommend.
We've needed to replace our dining room rug for awhile, our kids dropped so much food on it and despite trying to clean it with a carpet cleaner, it was NASTY. I heard about machine washable rugs and really wanted one but when I looked up how much the name brand ones cost I had a mini panic attack. I stumbled across this one, liked the design, and the price was shockingly low, so I decided to give it a shot. When a tiny box showed up at my door, I thought I made a big mistake. I thought it must be cheap & super thin and no way a good quality rug could fit in this box. Thankfully I was so wrong! It comes folded up and air sealed super tight. As soon as you puncture the wrapping it instantly folds out into a beautiful soft plush rug. 😍 The instructions say to allow 24 hours for the creases to go away, but they were gone within an hour. It really has a great "squish" feel to it, a lot like memory foam. The fabric is super soft and the design/printing is exactly as pictured. It has a nice rubber backing that holds it flat against the floor and it doesn't budge at all. I'm absolutely obsessed. Obviously, I haven't washed it as it's still brand new, so I can't vouch to how will it will hold up in the wash yet. I am excited about the possibility of being and to just squirt some shout on it and throw it in the washing machine the next time my baby decides to throw a bowl full of pasta on it though. 😅
This is a really great rug for the price and size, and has a nice neutral look to it that brightens the room. It’s really soft, and feels great underfoot. It has some plushness, but definitely benefits from a rug pad. The edges are nicely bound, and the backing is nice though there are a couple thin spots when held to the light. As with most washable rugs, the print is only on the tips of the weave, the design isn’t actually woven it’s printed on top. The main issue is that it does come with a chemical smell but also has quite a bit of shedding when first unfolded. It’s almost like piling, which is odd. But given the price, it’s not the end of the world since it’s a great value. Still worth noting though so just make sure you check yours!
Since transitioning to 100% WFH, I have been staring at the old brown carpet in my guest room office and desperately wanted a change. I was looking for a low cost solution to brighten up the space without a major commitment, and this 5x7 rug in Gray was the perfect find. The biggest selling point for me was the washable label. My cat has a sensitive stomach and spends the majority of her day sleeping in the office with me, so accidents are a reality I have to plan for. While I have not had to wash it yet, knowing I can just toss it in the machine instead of renting a carpet cleaner is a huge relief.It arrived folded tight and vacuum sealed, which usually worries me, but the creases smoothed out almost immediately. My pictures were taken just 30 minutes after putting it down. I was expecting it to be a thin and flat mat like most washable rugs, but this is surprisingly plush and soft underfoot. The backing has a rubberized grip that holds it firmly in place. Currently I have it layered over carpet, but I am confident it will stay put if we ever upgrade the room to hard flooring. This is a massive improvement for the price. It hides the ugly carpet, adds a nice retro floral touch, and offers the peace of mind of being washable without the high price tag of the big name brands.
