I was genuinely excited about this one. The design is bold and eye catching without feeling chaotic. I was immediately impressed with the beauty of this rug, while being slightly disappointed with it's quality. My detailed review follows:Looks:My first impression of this area rug is that it is a beautiful looking piece that exceeded my expectations. The two snakes and black background give it a mystical appearance and the color is somehow vibrant looking despite being mostly black. Maine Knight Score: 10 out of 10Quality:The rug has no manufacturing defects that I can detect. The fabric is vibrant and the rug is quite detailed. Unfortunately, the rug is rather light and thin. It is softer than walking on a hard floor surface, but it isn't very plush. This rug us allegedly machine washable but I don't know how well it would hold up in a washing machine. Maine Knight Score: 5 out of 10.Size:This rug comes in a variety of sizes. The 2X3 rug that I ordered is perfect for a doormat. Maine Knight Score: 10 out of 10.Value:This is an inexpensive rug, and that is reflected in the overall quality of the rug. It is priced appropriately for what it is. This 3x5 snake area rug has a really eye-catching design with snake imagery paired with floral and botanical elements that give off a mystical, boho feel. The colors are vibrant and definitely stand out, even though they appear a bit more muted compared to the listing photos. It works well as a statement piece in an entryway or living room, and the silicone bead backing helps keep it from sliding around on the floor.The rug has a printed design, and when you run your hand across it, the lighter backing underneath can be noticeable. It’s also very lightweight, which means vacuuming with a strong vacuum wasn’t ideal in my case, as it tended to lift off the floor.
