This is a very nice piece, and it looks just like it's described and presented in the description. It has a nice solid weight to it without being unwieldy, and both feels and looks high-quality. The copper-tinted metal on the rose itself has a nice faux patina to give it a classic aged look that looks beautiful in almost any setting.My partner likes to receive flowers but I'm not a fan of the impermanence and waste of resources associated with cut flowers, so every Valentine's I compromise by finding a different way to give flowers (installing a new flower bed, gifting potted indoor plants, art pieces, etc), and I thought this would be perfect for this coming year's holiday. Now I just have to hide it for awhile and manage not to give in to the temptation to gift it early. :)The one downside I see to this piece is the heart-shaped base, which I'm not a fan of. It doesn't have the aged look that the rose itself does, and it just feels out of place. I'll probably concoct a better way to display it before giving it.
My girlfriend loves roses. This wasn't an anniversary gift, but just a regular "How was your day?" gift and she loved it.The copper color really stands out nicely while sitting on her dresser.The rose itself is well made. I thought for sure that it would be thin metal that would easily bend.To my surprise, this metal flower and stand are very sturdy and will last a long time.If you're looking for a nice gift for your man or lady that won't end up in the trash after two weeks, this will work out well.Note: 5-Star ratings from me represents that a product meets and/or exceeds my personal expectations for and not limited to functionality, build quality and price.
