Lush, Lifelike, and Low-Maintenance!

I am beyond impressed with how realistic these artificial geraniums look! I’ve always loved the look of red geraniums on a front porch, but between the Texas heat and my forgetful watering schedule, the real ones never last more than a few weeks. I decided to give these a try for my window boxes, and from the sidewalk, you honestly cannot tell they aren’t real.The set comes with 8 bundles, which was the perfect amount to fill out two medium-sized planters. The petals are made of a high-density silk that feels much more substantial than the cheap plastic flowers you usually find at craft stores. They have a great "full" look to them, and the color is a vibrant, true red that really pops against the green foliage.What really sold me was the UV resistance. They’ve been sitting in direct afternoon sun for a while now, and I haven't noticed any of the typical fading or "purpling" that usually happens with outdoor faux plants. They’ve also held up beautifully through a couple of heavy rainstorms—the water just beads off and they don't look bedraggled or messy afterward.If you want the curb appeal of a lush garden without the constant maintenance (or the heartbreak of wilting plants), these are a fantastic solution. They’ve definitely "deceived" a few of my neighbors already!

Flowers are nice, the color rich but the stems are thin and light and the leaves are like paper

I love red geraniums and wanted to place some in my hanging baskets this year as usual however, I am not so good at caring for live plants due to the weather getting too hot which I can’t usually tolerate. This year I decided to try artificial florals and plants that would always look good and require little to no care yet, won’t fade or die.I ordered these and I am on the fence about whether I like them or not. Granted, the flowers are nice and the color is rich, the silk on the flowers is of decent quality but the silk on the leaves feel like paper. I am giving them the benefit of doubt by thinking that’s due to UV fabric to avoid fading but, I do have other flowers for outside this year and none of them feel like paper.You receive 8 sets/stems in your order. Each stem has 5 stems attached by a main stem. Each of those 5 has 2 leaves each and a few flowers heads on top. Upon receiving, you will need to unbend them and fluff up the leaves and flowers on each while arranging the stems how you want them to show. While the flowers take little effort to fluff up and look nice right away, the leaves require more attention. They seem all crumpled up like paper and the stems are thin and light. I mean REALLY thin and light. I’m surprised they can hold the weight of the few silk flowers on top. You can stand the stem in flower foam to keep it sturdy but once you blow on them, they will bend under the weight. If they can bend just with me blowing on them, what will happen when a wind starts blowing? I live in a very windy location, almost like a wind tunnel on some weeks and on those occasions, these will not be able to stand up and hold under the weight. These will either get crushed or pull out and blow away.On the other hand, placing these in a hanging basket will eliminate quite a bit of weight with them being so light. If I can fill the basket enough, so the stems will have others to lean against when windy, they may hold up fine. Yet, without dirt, and a root ball, and plants…. What’s left to hold the basket in place and keep it from banging around in the wind?I’m going to have to go with being this light weight is not a benefit and instead a sign of inexpensive quality. While the flowers may last the season, I honestly don’t think the stems will survive, nor the leaves. The flowers are made well with quality materials but the stems, and leaves were made with inexpensive materials and are unstable in the long run.I don’t suggest buying these for the main focal point in any basket however, you may be able to use them as a filler. Mixing these with other plants that are more substantial should help anchor them and keep them in place. Alone, they will either fall or blow apart.

Bright and cheerful faux silk geraniums for indoor or outdoor use

These bright faux silk geraniums come in a group of 8 each inside a plastic sleeve. They fluff out easily and the stems straighten and when bunched together look real from a distance. The green foliage isn't the best quality they are rather floppy and crease easily but you don't really see much of the foliage once the flowers are all bundled together. They really brighten up a planter and would look good indoors or out. Being UV resistant you should get a year or so out of them in full sun before they fade too much. The silk flowers add a touch of realism and overall these geraniums add a cheery vibe. Recommended.
