Really good quality, looks very real, good price

My wife and I decided to use some artificial foliage for the outside of our recently purchased house so that we could maintain a look without having to worry about caring for real plants or them being damaged from temperature changes since we live in the northern part of the United StatesAssembly required, no tools and included simple to follow instructions.The pot is very light weight and so you should be prepared to fill the base to make it heavier, if placing outside so that the wind does not blow it over, which is what I experienced many timesI still have yet to figure out how to give the top part where the tree base inserts into the bottom base from being knocked over by the wind, but I’m sure I will be able to figure something out.As far as looking real, I can assure you it was Designed well and certainly looks the part.Even the fake moss included to put at the base of the stem looks extremely life likeThe leaves are easy to manipulate, and do have a certain color different than the underside of each so when pulling down the branches to make it look more real I used the darker color on the top of the leaves as a guide as to how far down to push them.All in all the tree itself is quite heavy at about 10 pounds, but not too heavy that one person cannot assemble it by themselves.I love the design, but do you wish that it was a little bit stronger as part of the plastic base has chipped when the wind blew it overFor the price I think it’s an excellent artificial tree that definitely looks very real and is very aesthetically pleasing on the outside of our house adjacent to the entrance to our apartment

Took a little bit of fiddling with two people to get the two pieces to connect on top, you have very little margin of error. However once that was done this is a fantastic looking tree. Looks real / alive. The base is a little on the cheap side of appearance, but nothing a little paint couldn't fix. Overall really great touch to any corner of your condo / apartment.

It’s just ok - noticeable flaws

Unfortunately I don’t love this tree. It’s an ok tree and will look nice in certain areas, but if it’s placed somewhere that you’ll be looking at it up close, then you will certainly find several flaws.The first issue with the tree I received is that the two pieces didn’t align. We had to drastically squeeze the top piece because it was at least a half inch away from the slots on the bottom portion. Once we were able to get the posts in the slots, it didn’t want to align all the way so there is a gap remaining between the top and bottom.Then there are noticeable misalignments with the other parts of the tree. There were pieces of material/“tree bark” missing. There are clumps of glue like material as well as plastic in numerous areas. All of this is very noticeable up close.The moss is actually a faux moss made using a thread/string like material. Which again up close you can tell it’s string.The biggest issue I have though is that the tree leans. No matter where I place it or turn it, you can see the lean. The tree is firmly placed in the white base so it’s not that causing the lean, and you can actually see that the tree itself is slanted in the hardened faux “soil”.As I said this is an ok tree. I think it will look good displayed at a distance but displayed where people are only a couple feet away and they’ll be sure to notice this is a fake tree.

Good quality Ficus

At 7 feet tall, its a pretty tall tree. It comes in two pieces, upper and lower trunks plus the white planter. There are actually three trunks, each split in half, but each set of three half pieces are held together along with all the branches and leaves. You do need to correctly align the upper and lower halves when assembling. And then you need to "fluff" the branches since they are shipped squeezed into a tight bundle. The result is a great looking tree.The lower end of the trunks are secured in a small weighted black "planter" that fits into the top of the much larger white planter. It seems pretty stable, but if you wanted you could fill the white planter with gravel (or sand, etc) to make it more stable. I haven't felt a need to do this yet, but its an option.
