Very soft

Oftentimes with these rugs the product photos show a rug way way larger than it actually is, and this one is no exception.The photos make this look maybe twice as large as it actually is, but at least you have the real measurements to go off of.Just be aware, most of the carpets here on Amazon are the thinner softer kind that can be easily folded into squares rather than the kind you find at retail that have to be rolled because of how thick and rigid they are.Both have their pros and cons, so just be aware of what you're getting.I got this one for downstairs on the hardwood where the kids play so they aren't bumping and falling directly on the hardwood. Unfortunately despite being "non-slip" these carpets skid around a lot and wrinkle and bunch up when walked on. I kind of already knew this as I've ordered one of these before and they're generally all the same style and material.The fluffy top is very thick, well over an inch, and provides a good level of padding for the kids to romp around on. Only negative is when they play with legs and it turns the carpet into a minefield. Be afraid, be very afraid.Their legos are now restricted solely to a different rug I got for them that's more normal without all the fluffy stuff on top.

Soft And Shaggy Neutral Rug

This rug comes in a dark gray color that complements the décor beautifully. The color grounds the room without overpowering it. The pile is long and shaggy, giving it a soft feel underfoot without being too bulky. It includes an anti-skid backing that does a good job of keeping the rug in place, so it doesn’t slide or shift. The rug lays flat and any creases flattened out within a day, with no curling edges or bumps. It’s easy to vacuum using a high-pile setting. While the rug is advertised as machine washable, I haven’t tested that feature. The care instructions on the website recommend hand-washing to preserve the rug’s integrity and shagginess, which contradicts the machine-washable claim. Hand washing isn’t very practical for a rug this size. This rug is best suited for a bedroom or other low-traffic area. It tends to flatten and show footprints when walked on and can feel slightly slippery underfoot, making it less ideal for high-traffic spaces. Despite feeling lightweight, the rug appears well-made. The 5' x 7' size is priced comparably to similar rugs, and I’m hopeful the quality will hold up over time. Overall, it’s a nice option for low-traffic areas, as long as you’re okay with the matted-down appearance between vacuuming.

Love this rug

So this rug came air sealed so it didn’t take up much space getting delivered. Once opened it unfolds into a large plush soft rug. It fits perfectly in my son’s room. It is super soft so he spends a lot of time now playing on it as opposed to prior having this rug. It adds some texture and dimension to his space, and it’s durable to last for years. I haven’t washed it yet, but I imagine it would fit in the washer but I will probably clean it in the tub once that time comes and air dry it by hanging over a rail outside. Overall this rug was a pleasant surprise and would recommend if you just want a simple rug to put somewhere where someone spends time on the floor.

Nice size and soft

I wish it didn’t look so much like a bathroom rug, but even after a few days of getting used to having it out it does still look like it should be in a bathroom. Definitely not the material for a bathroom, though, so don’t try it. It is really soft and does a great job at staying put, have had absolutely no issues with it slipping around so I’m super happy about that. It’s a great size for a smaller space, we have it next to our bed and it’s comfortable to step on when getting out of bed. Pretty easy to clean, it’s quick to just brush crumbs or dust out.

Simple, soft, and dog approved

We were looking for a rug for our living room that was simple and clean with no patterns, which my husband prefers, and also easy to live with since we have two Blue Merle Australian Shepherds. That combination is harder to find than you’d think.This dark gray rug has been a great fit. It’s very soft and fluffy, with nice padding underneath that gives it a cushioned feel without being too thick. The non-slip backing actually works, even with Orbit running full speed through the living room chasing his discs. It stays put.Both dogs love laying on it, and it’s comfortable enough that we find ourselves sitting on it too. The color works well in our space and hides fur better than lighter rugs.
