These real eucalyptus branches are the real deal, and you get a lot for the price. They came packaged nicely and in 6 bundles of 10 stems in each bundle. They’re easy to manipulate and use for decoration, to hang in the bathroom, or for gift ideas. You do lose a couple of leaves when you move around the stems, but that’s to be expedited. I’m such a lover for eucalyptus and these stems are so great for my indoor decor.
I love fresh eucalyptus but these were disappointing….First; when I pulled them from the box, the smell hit me before I even opened it. They list that these are preserved and should last 2 years however, the ones I received I believe were already old. They smelled old and like mold.Second; another reason I feel these are old is because of the color. Most eucalyptus is a deep green color but as it gets old, it turns dark, even black in color. Mine arrived with very little green left to it. They were on the dark to black side.Third; on the cut side of the stems, many of the leaves were also yellow and breaking. There is a note explaining that you may receive some yellow stems but, that’s not what I was ordering. Not only were the stems black, with yellow brittle leaves at the base but. The stems were no longer soft and supple. When they are fresh, the stems can bend, and the leaves are still soft. But just like with the brittle yellow leaves, these stems were hard. They weren't bendable like fresh should be.Fourth; they looked like they were picked before they were fully mature. I received 6 bundles of ten stems each. Three bundles were comprised of stems with very little leaves and three were fine. The reason I say they were picked before being mature is because they had tiny little leaves along the stems, not the larger fuller ones that mature eucalyptus will usually have.Granted, this wasn’t every stem but a good majority. Between the look and smell, the only deduction I could make is these are older than what I was expecting. I wanted fresh, green, ripe and mature stems that I could sit around my home and place in my shower. Hopefully this is not usual and I just received a bad batch but either way, I am unable to use these stems due to the look and smell.
I was excited to order these Preserved Eucalyptus Bunches, because I love the smell of Eucalyptus and wanted to fill my bathroom with them. After opening, I was happy with the condition of the preserved Eucalyptus Branches and happy with their pleasant smell. They are very attractive in both color and shape, and I am very pleased with their look, which is so much nicer looking than fake florals. Overall, I am very pleased with these preserved Eucalyptus Bunches, and think they offer a great value and would recommend them.
I don't know what it is about eucalyptus but I absolutely LOVE the smell!!! I've been getting a lot of silk flowers lately. I hated that my fresh flowers were always only lasting a few days and that there was always a disgusting slimy mess to clean out of the vase. I'm really happy with the silk flower arrangements, BUT I do miss a fresh smell. So, I've been getting the eucalyptus to scatter thru the arrangements. Not only do they look beautiful, but they smell great! These are beautifully preserved and they SMELL FANTASTIC! Recommended!
