Good quality wood frame shadowboxes

These are exactly what I was looking for. The only difference than with the usual shadowboxes that I have purchased in the past is that the inner square and front panel cannot be removed. It’s fine because the protective plastic coating is easy to remove but it was just unexpected. Otherwise the worked out perfectly, they are good quality and they were a good value.

Shadow box frames with dinged up corners

In general, these are some nice shadow box frames, functionally. Unfortunately for me, 4 of the 6 frames that I got have quite visible issues. On 4 of the frames, there is some level of bummer - mostly on the frame corners. The 4 pics that I’ve included are 4 different frames with dings, wear & glue on the corners & one along the face edge. Since they’re black in color, the issues are that much more noticeable.Other than the frame issues, one of the thin acrylic “glass” fronts has visible scraping/scuffs on it. I wasn’t able to get a good picture of that. The rest appear to be fine. Each frame is wrapped in thin plastic & each acrylic piece has protective film on each side. There was no other protection, like bubble wrap or cardboard corners, which is how I’m assuming mine ended up the way they are right out of the box.Other than those issues, the frames are sized as described & are generally good. The easels are sound & the hangers seem sturdy. I haven’t used the included mounting dots yet as I need to fix the frames before I use them. Since it’s not mentioned in the product details, I can confirm that these are made in China.
