The quality is for a kids room, cheap.

I was expecting this to come in a roll, but instead it came in a box. It’s not a traditional type of carpet, more like a foam carpet a little squishy to the feet. The bottom is the same, not strong. It came folded tightly in a box. If you are familiar, the quality is comparable to what you’d see in a child’s room with the roads and town. My son likes it though, and I was looking for something affordable and this fit the room makeover budget. If I had known the quality o would have waited for rugs to go on sale at Hobby Lobby. Just sayin…

Beautiful and whimsical harlequin pattern checkered rug~

I am utterly in love with this rug! It has completely transformed my home office, and I look for excuses to walk into the room just to see it. After weeks of searching for something that would coordinate with my office and entryway foyer, this rug was the perfect find.**The Design & Quality:** The pattern is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. It’s a wonderful neutral ivory and black checkered pattern that is neutral yet bold. The material is soft underfoot and even though it is thinner and washable it does have a weight to it that prevents it from sliding or bunching up, even on my hardwood floors (I used a rug pad for extra security).**The Practical Magic - It's WASHABLE!** As someone with a dog and a penchant for spilling coffee, the washable feature was the main reason I took the chance. Let me tell you, it works PERFECTLY. My dog tracked in some mud, and I was able to simply spot-clean the area with a damp cloth and mild soap. Then fold it up and toss it into the washing machine. I washed the entire 8 x 10 rug in my standard home washing machine on a gentle cycle. It came out beautifully! I laid it flat to dry and it dried quickly. The colors remained exactly the same, with no shrinkage or damage. This feature is worth everything to me as I’ve had to replace so many rugs in the past that couldn’t be washed.**The Size & Feel:** I ordered the 8x10 size, and it was true to the dimensions listed. It provides fantastic coverage and really anchors the space. It matches my office with ivory walls and a darker accent wall perfectly. The texture is a lovely, low-pile velvety feel that is incredibly comfortable to walk on.In short, this rug is a dream come true for me. It combines bold dramatic style with great practicality. If you’re hesitating, don’t. It’s a lovely rug that delivers on every promise. I would buy this again in a heartbeat! Highly, highly recommend- 5 stars!
