If you want an elegant-looking frame -- that doubles as both classic and modern -- this is it. I initially ordered a set of smaller (3 x 5) frames from amazon exactly like this one. I was so impressed with those -- as were the recipients of the photos for which I used them -- that I ordered this one for an 8 x 10 photo that needed a frame.The frame is very sturdy; the metal is sleek-looking and has a nice coating on it; the "glass" is real glass, not plexiglass that scratches or gets discolored; and the back of the frame is velvet covered and allows for the frame to either stand on a table-top/shelf/dresser or to be hung on a wall. The price was good for the high quality of this frame, and it arrived very well packaged.

A solid option

Was looking for a decent frame without the overly thick edges I find most of the top selling ones on this site have, and so I gave this one a shot. For the price I was expecting a bit better build quality but is isn't terrible. Also I must mention that the "protective foam" layer that you are meant to slot behind the photo to keep it in place did not come sized correctly, so I had to cut it with scissors into the right dimensions. All in all I am happy with how it looks and will display it on my mantle proudly.
