Definitely more for looks than functionality

This is a very nice looking rug, though it is a bit on the thin side. I wouldn’t recommend it for high traffic areas but maybe somewhere like a bedroom or personal bathroom, in front of the sink. It is very soft under the feet. There is a rubbery texture underneath however it doesn’t grip very well, especially on hard surfaces. This is a nice rug if you are just wanting something aesthetic but if you need a rug you are counting on to catch dirt or even stay in place in its own then this is not the rug.
