Started off a little iffy but ended in love!

I will admit while I was trying to fluff out the branches and leaves, I wasn’t feeling too hopeful, but there was some hope, as I have fluffed many a tree branch and am aware of how sparse and lackluster they can appear until it’s all finished. Fortunately That was very much the case with these olive tree branches and leaves. The leaves are paper of some sort instead of plastic, and I was honestly sort of bummed about that and was actually planning on demoting my review because of it. Because they are paper-like, some were folded and creased and the folds and creases are very stubborn and difficult to straighten out or manipulate.BUT.. now that the tree is all assembled and the leaves are relaxing due to some humidity in the air, I see why the leaves are this material. Because it LOOKS SO NATURAL. They actually look real. There is no super shiny artificial plastic that looks very faux in light or up close. These look real from inches away! The olives look remarkably real as well.Assembly of the tree was a cinch. There’s a planter pot with the bottom of the trunk, a middle piece that pops into that, an upper section with branches pops into that, and then the top chunk with is the top of the tree pops into that! There are stickers that tell you which piece is which and in which direction they attach by lining up the number stickers, but it’s super obvious anyways. Especially the top of the tree that doesn’t have a hole for another post. I was very happy with the overall appearance of the tree, and it is definitely 5ft tall as it was only a few inches shorter than me, but I wasn’t quite happy with the height in my living space. I think maybe due to the slim nature of the tree and shape of the branches (Olive trees angle upwards keeping a slim frame, whereas most other faux trees are rounder at the top). This particular tree needed some additional height. I just stuffed my tallest floor base with heavy packing paper until this planter sat at high up as I wanted it to. The top of the planter & vase is covered in the nice artificial moss that was included with this tree. The easiest way to use the moss for me, was to dig a little hole right in the middle of the moss and slide it down over the bottom post and trunk of the tree, until it landed on top of the planter where I just finished it off by tucking the stray pieces into the planter neatly. The tree was already assembled when I realized I wanted to do it this way, so I just pulled the bottom two sections apart and then reassembled it. I added some fairy lights as well, so now I love it even more.I will definitely try to add a photo in natural lighting or bright indoor lighting because the leaves look so much prettier in person in all lighting conditions. The FLASH however, is doing a not so flattering effect on the leaves. So much prettier and lifelike in person.

Affordable Artificial Olive Tree That Looks Real

Why I Chose This ProductI have recently redecorated my living room, and my wife and I noticed we were missing some greenery. We were looking for a low-maintenance plant that would add a touch of nature to our space without requiring a lot of care. So, artificial trees and plants are our choice for most locations in our space. But, finding something that doesn't look fake was our next challenge. I came across this Olive Tree and thought it would be a great addition to our living room. I was right!Key Features That Stood OutThe first thing is I wanted to make sure the Olive Tree looked realistic and didn't dominate the space since our living room isn't very large. This tree is the perfect size and fits perfectly in a corner of our living room. The density of the tree was also perfect, not too sparse, not too dense. It looks like a real olive tree and adds a lot of character to the room. I have seen a lot of artificial olive trees, and often they have far too few olives, or they look fake, or both, but this one has a lot of olives, and they look real.It comes with everything you need to get set up, including a black plastic pot and moss. This is one of the things you may want to consider buying separately to put the tree in if the base will be part of your decor. In my case, this tree sits in a corner behind a chair, so I didn’t need to worry about the base. That said, the base and moss are nice, and this by no means is unattractive, it's just that the base is plain and not decorative, which is to be expected.The tree comes in 3 pieces and is extremely easy to assemble. All the parts just slide together. The moss comes in a separate bag, and you just need to place it in the pot around the base of the tree. It took me all of 2 minutes to assemble.Final ThoughtsI was very impressed with the quality of the entire tree, and it definitely exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. I have seen trees of this size that cost much more. I would definitely recommend this Olive Tree to anyone looking for a realistic, low-maintenance addition to their home.
