It works, looks nice, comparable to other products at same price point
This easel stand is a nice addition to my art room. It's does have some slight welding flaws, but nothing that interferes with the functionality of the easel. They moreso detract from the aesthetics of the easel, but can be covered by a canvas or photo or even a draping cloth. The easel stand is pretty. I like the gold color. It does feel tacky or sticky in some spots. Unsure if that is a production residue or paint/powder/finishing issue. I wiped it down with warm water and don't feel that stickiness anymore. The easel stand has adjustable arms with wingnuts that allow you to move the height your canvas sits at. That's extremely handy for when you want to transition painting or sketching positions. You have to assemble this yourself. It comes with a fair number of parts. It's easy to assemble. I did it alone in about 15-20 minutes after checking to be sure I had all the parts. It will go faster if you have a helper. In order for it to travel with me I have to take it at least halfway apart. You can only fold it as a tripod on the vertical to transport it (basically close the tripod legs). As such, I plan on using it exclusively at my home, in my art room, or to display new pieces in my entryway. The same is true for storage. It is 4' 8" tall. It is tripod style and does have a chain that allows the legs to close, but it does not fold at the horizontal center to allow for more compact storage. There are better quality easel stands out there, but many brands are more costly and I've had several that were made worse than this one for a higher cost, so this was a pretty good buy for my needs. It functions exactly as it should. It does what I wanted it to do. It holds picture frames and canvases nicely. I can pain and sketch with ease. It also holds wreaths nicely. Would be cute for a photo display at graduation or wedding or shower parties.Overall, I'd get this again. It's made well enough for what I need it to do and looks nice. It does what it's supposed to and I like the ease of use. I do wish I could fold it on a horizontal center hinge for better compact storage and for travel, but for what it cost, it's a good product.
