Huge! Looks really great. Highly adjustable. Easy to shape everything.

These flowers are huge and looks really great. Everything is highly adjustable because there are wires in the pedals and leaves. The stalks are made from a metallic tubing that allows you to bend it any way you want it to go. The tubing is metal and I think it may be thin walled aluminum tubing since it is non-magnetic.The pedals are made out of two layers of paper, glued together, with what looks like two wires running from the inner part of the pedal, to the outer edge. The wires are not too heavy, but they allow for easy adjustments to position the flowers however you want them. In my photos, you can see that I did not spend too much time trying to get them perfect. I only wanted to open them up a little so you can get an idea of what they could look like. Therefore, with a little more work, these could take on almost any shape you want from closed, to wide open. It is also easy to radially move the pedals around the flower so you can fill in any gaps.The base is a simple metal tubing that was tack welded together, and then painted green. The base is somewhat light, compared to the whole flower, so it may need to be secured to prevent it from tipping over. This comes with two ground staples which is for use outdoors. But personally, I'm not sure if they are long enough to really provide great stability in wind or occasional bumps. You may want to weigh it down with heavy rocks or sand bags.I really didn't try to make any meaningful adjustments to the green leaves on the stalks. Looking at these photos, it's obvious they need more work than what I put in to them. Each of these leaves has one wire running down the center on their backside (underside) so they are easy to adjust and they should hold their pose and shape.In the flowers is a round Styrofoam ball with about 10 to a dozen stamens, which are made out of wire with a bead glued to it. One bead fell off, as you can see in the photo with the metal ground staples. It's easy to glue them back on if they do fall off, of which they are actually pretty well secured. I do think the plain syrofoam ball is a little cheap looking, but what's interesting is that it reflects the color of the pedals so it's not as obvious that its a plain white styrofoam ball.Overall, this is a huge flower, with three wonderfully vibrant paper flowers. This would look awesome in many different settings and occasions too. I really like how adjustable it is, and how easy it is to make those adjustments. This combination is a really great deal, since it includes three flowers, when many of there others are just a single flower

A prop master's dream, but pray for a coupon

Bought this as a prop for a stage show. It's a wonderful rig to customize and face the flowers the way you need to for your event or show. Each one could be faced outward, to allow for "surround-viewing", at a convention, for instance. Or, if placed in a corner or on a stage, all flowers could point to face the same direction for more pop. The stems are realistic, can be bent in any direction for a shorter profile, and have leaves that can also be sculpted toward any direction, angle, or curl. The flowers have actual wired stamens with pearls on top, and both the flower petals and filaments can be shaped to your aesthetic intent.Instructions come with the set, but they're more geared to using the 2 metal stakes to anchor the flower outside. An important step they left out is that you'll need to unscrew the wing-nuts of the three base holders ALL the way out before even thinking about putting the stem into the holder. (see close-up photo of base) If you have even a fragment of that screw sticking into the hollow of the holder, the flower stem will stop at that point, and any screwing in will just happen underneath the bottom of the stem (essentially doing nothing at all). This causes the stem to wiggle around loosely, because it's down just far enough to give the appearance of being in place, but it's not actually held by anything and can fall right out. It's such a subtle and simple difference, but if you unscrew the wing nut all the way out, so that the screw "pin" it's attached to is completely invisible from the channel, the stem will "magically" seat all the way down into its holster where it belongs. From there, tightening the wing nut will allow the screw to pin all the way against the stem, strongly and securely. Especially for those using this on stages or at events, you'll want that for success! The instructions do recommend adding heavy weights over the base for security, so you'll want to factor that in for your event as well, plus whatever fabric you need to hide said weights. At $62.89, the value for money begs for a coupon! I've seen artificial trees for $37, and they're made of PVC, which is more expensive and durable than the waterproof fiber paper this is made from. Right now, I won't remove a star for it, since other brands are the same price or higher than this one, but it would seem there would be room to lower the cost of these to consumers. If you see a coupon here in the future, grab it!

Lovely

This is my second set of these. One I have purchased straight from the manufacturer that is a solid pink color. So in this review I am comparing the two. Overall, this is a very beautiful set of a flowers. The ombre is a very lovely shade and the green also adds to the vibrance. It was also very easy to put together. I knocked this product down one star because it is far too top heavy to set on any surface without securing it in some way. I do not feel like the stakes included make sense for the indoor setting that this will most likely be in. The stakes are handy for outside but this is not something that can survive all weather so I wouldn't recommend outdoor use unless it was a dry day. Overtime the paper would be ruined by cold, rain or extended exposure to heat. All in all they are lovely and are perfect for indoor settings as long as you add more weight to the base or secure from the top.
